I have seen that many people are using bots to trade and it is a good way to save time and reduce a lot of risks. Many experts in this forum have also developed some of their own trading bots and sell it around here. That is really good
It may save time but I am not sure it will help you to deal the risks. Because bots may react and trade as per how it was coded but market trends may vary over time. I am looking for more versatile bot which will be making profits under any type of market situations. I guess I only may need to code such a bot.

I guess it would be too hard to find trading bots which will be suiting as per our trading strategies. One bot may not cover different strategies to cross check entry points all the times. Summing up all, it seems manual trading could be the best one.

I don't recommend trading bots in such good times of bitcoin going to moon, there can be major issues using trading bots at this time, like in a day price can fluctuate about 100$ in bullish or bearish market or maybe more, so you should set variables for that too keeping into account.

I think that's risky trading. Bots directly trade your money and don't think whether you have enough money or not. If they loose then they will put more money to recover the loss as well as to get new profit from new trade. That's make it horrible trading way.

i only know three bot that will help us to automate our trading, leonardo, cat, and gunbot. the two bot, leonardo and cat is release long time ago and still exist until now, gunbot is a new one. but all support from the dev is awesome, they really thinking about after sales for the member and really makes their customer to important person that should be give attention. leonardo and cat can be used by many market but in cat, we should buy the api code to work for another market, gunbot is more cheap than the other bots but its only work for poloniex market.

Whether its artificial intelligence or something beyond that, it is created by the human. So I don't think it can work better than human mind, it works upon the way its programmed to function. Also with bitcoin human itself can't make the prediction for tomorrow's price then how come to rely on a bot.
Nothing on this world could really predict prices on the future and you are right even those bots cant really decide and know on what would be the prices and as you said those are just human creations and been coded to automate tradings it doesnt make decision that could human do.
Yeah, bots are not perfect and they can’t be even if they put so many possibilities in the coding, the prices change according to factors that are hard to predict which makes using software useless, plus I see a lot of trading sites that have policies against using bots in their terms of use.

Can you explain me about some review on the bot's thread? But the general thing about the bot, it can't reach the other decimal outside of the range amount has been putting by the user.
So, is it including on the illegal activities?

I was interest to buy but I don't see proofs of how profitable their bots are. Is there anyone who sells their bots and has succeesfully tried to create a video on how it works live on some exchange like polo?

If its truly working hundred percent that they win more than 70% of its entry, the creator could be earning more if he shows a viseo of it wining a trade.
Never invest in this type of trading supporting things unless otherwise you will be having some solid proof on its performance for consistently profit making. Otherwise it will sum up again your trading losses to some extent. Personally I never prefer for any trading bots as I am completely satisfied with my manual trading performances.

well, bot software will not always bring good luck, it could even make you lose in a short time. probably better trading manually, because you can control your advantage, and you will not regret. Well, many people who regret using bot out there.

they do make profits some days but definitely cannot perform on all the days.
Then why not just trade with bots as I am also manually not able to perform well in trading all the days. I am also having opinion against bot trading but after seeing my recent results, thinking about switch over to automated trading with least capital amounts.

perform manual trading is the best choice for me. because the software can go wrong in estimating. a software too raw and rigid so it can not conduct an assumption of price movements. trading should be with the heart, because that is the hallmark of a trader.
Yes, a software will not be versatile to withstand all different market situations to take the right decision toward profit making. Still some users sharing that they are making good profits from trading by using bots, but their consistency will be a big question, they do make profits some days but definitely cannot perform on all the days.

Hi,

Which bot software you are using for bitcoin trade.
Are there any software you would like to recommend free or paid?
Trading using bot softwares has some benefits like emotionless trading, minimizing of pilot errors like typing incorrectly as 1000 shares instead of 100 shares, improved order entry speed. But it does have lots of disadvantages. If an internet connection is lost, power failure,it would be useless. Also,it has to be monitored.Better you avoid such bots and learn to trade by yourserlf.
Trading with bot is quite easier to do than trading manually. However, it often times not working for good trading. In my opinion, doing such trading is better to do it by yourself, it's really better develop your skills in trading that you would learn a lot rather than depending on bot and waiting your momey to wait for good trade. Trading manually is quite harder, yet would lead you to profit faster as you are the one who will decide when is the goog time to sell/buy.

I would not recommend you to use bots because it doesn't help you to build your own trading skills and another thing is that it involves a lot of risk most of the software bots for trading has a built in virus and will steal your confidential data privately so beware there is a lot of a risk on using it !

that's not true. With my bot for example you can create your strategy and let it run on any markets you wants at the same time for 24h/day.
And this is the great difference from manual to automatic trading  Wink

The only advantage of a trading bot is that it trades when you sleep.I don`t think that this is such a huge advantage.
Usually the lazy people use bots. You should practice and learn trading and you will have better success instead of using a bot.

What do you think about artificial intelligence based bot software? What are your thoughts about smart trading software?

youre bot software to use trading not guaranted youre trading always profit
in bot trading is same use pending order not diference
While its true and I agree to a extent but bots are good too mate because like if there is a bitcoin price trade bot then it can automatically buy cheap and sell at a higher price, hence making cool profits while doing the same manually you might get emotional and hold too long to sell to quickly geting panicked so bots can be good too. but unsure if there is a cool bot out there for public.
While bots can be good for some cases but using it for buying and selling bitcoin is quite risky, because the price is not stable so it will be possible that the bot will sell as soon as the price goes down a bit and then it will go up and that will not be profitable, and plus trying to use bots for selling and buying can be hard since the addresses keep on changing after every transaction.

Hi,

Which bot software you are using for bitcoin trade.

i only know two bot that have a good reputation and recommended by member of this forum which is CAT by sampey, here is the thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bot-cat-cryptocurrency-automatic-trader-new-price-list-042021-507103 and the bot come from gunthar and here is the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715214.260

that bot is paid version and the price is not difference too much, each of bot have pros and cons and you can buy them separately if you want to use bot. i am not using any bot to do trade, i prefer to do manual so i can learn while i am doing trading.

I think those bots are nice. I read through both of them and read really great reviews from its users. Though the price might be expensive if you would be only trading a few bitcoins. Maybe 1 btc would be the optimum amount of investment to really maximize your profits from buying the bot.

you can control your risk, recommended to use a manual trading.

what if you use some type of neural network bot that brings you 1000% return every month?  wouldn't that be pretty good?

personally i dont use any yet... however i have used the QtBitcoinTrader provided by bter... loads incredibly slowly to get to todays information. C.A.T. trader seems to be quite good and used frequently, however i dont have a large enough BTC stash to make a license worth buying yet... also not enough trade volume.
all that being said, ive decided to start writting my own Smiley long way from release... but you may eventually hear about 'Hatchet Trader' Smiley

The best bot is the not which you manage by yourself.
Not basically an algorithm which do a looping and choose an option from algorithm wrote. The trend is always change everyday especially kind of bitcoin which fluctuate, if the not can't update it just will become a lose. Not basically a tools for makes your trade activity easier.

Hi,

I used my own technical analysis and doing trades in my own hands.

You don't need any bot program to execute your trade in bitcoin exchange. Price fluctuates much and the command that your bot will follow will just lead you to losses or limited profit especially when there is a big price movenmet. Bots are fit to the assets that has a stable price.

And you will not boost your trading knowledge if you use bots.

This is only my suggestion. In the end you are the one who will decide what you think is appropriate to you.

A bot for trade only works for a good trader. That is, you only get winners who know how to program the bot with your own strategies, a bot not programmed by you can lead to bankruptcy fast. And another thing, if the bot was good the person would not sell. Why have someone to dispute with you?
From your ideology, I learn bot trading will work for good programmer cum trader. Because only a trader with working strategy will be able to code that as bot for his trading purposes.

I have come across some traders who are working with trading bots, but they are using bots for some limited processes but final decisions are being taken manually after double confirmations. They save time due to those bots. That's all.

I would recommend everyone to go for manual trading rather than automated trading by using bots. Because,  the bots that are worthy to be considered are usually priced very high and nothing is guaranteed. And taking positional calls in Cryptos using your knowledge, skill and brain would be much better and it would go a long way.

I haven't used any bot so far but I have seen a popular bot names C.A.T on this forum (It's paid and I think the price is around 0.5 BTC). I believe a person should have some basic knowledge of trading before he starts using any bot because it requires little bit more understandings while trading with it.

See basically understand one thing that trading is done by three things : consistency, brain and fund.

The bot can maintain funds and consistency but the bot can never take wise deicisions because its a program coded to do a certain task in a orderly manner. Hence I personally feel best way is to trade manually.

Better not to use bot software for trading because it's something that you can't have guarantee of doing wrong with your trades.

Doing trading alone with your own style and effort is the most preferred way of trading.

Because when a bot did a failed trade, you can't undo it which is basically happening very often.

If you are serious about trading and profit making from it then my suggestion would be staying away from trading bots. As they are merely some programs, coded for some specific market conditions. But in reality, there would be millions of different market conditions and no bot would be versatile to cover all of them to fetch you profits all the times.

There are some bots in this forum, for example C.A.T. Cryptocurrency Automatic Trader or leonArdo - Trading Bot for Poloniex, Bittrex and etc but I for profitable trading it's better to use your brain. Mostly traders aren't useing automated softwares. Read many books about trading, develop your skills, learn treatment of analyze. It's good if you'll use free trading patforms in the begining. If you want, you can use them but you won't learn trading and your money will be under risk, realize it.

Bots software are not reliable: Because most of them are designed based on lagging indicators. Up till now, many of them cannot interpret stories that drives the market. You should developed your trading skills on market action and technical analysis. Also study how fundamental analysis works and increase your knowledge on it. Remember successful traders are skillful traders.
