Break down the barcode into its constituent parts
Parse and compile the constituent element parts into a URL/URI/Mobile App
The resulting query shows if the product is authentic by showing the originating companies supply chain.
So if you bought the product, from a 3rd party other than the authorized re-seller/distributor you would know
that there might be a chance it had been tampered with.

Token Uses

Under the Existing GDSN Network, suppliers and retailers pay for subscription to access to GS1's master database

Our Public Blockchain Network will seek to work in conjunction with that network, offering lower fees than current subscriptions

Operators of Full Nodes receive a portion of those feeds, much like the "staking" lottery system in DASH
