True story. GSM phones will never work on a CDMA network. Sell your GSM phone and buy a CDMA phone.

Sorry, Inaba was right. I guess i was euro centric Smiley This works only for GSM network locks. CDMA is a different ball game (sim is  preprovisioned) Works like a charm with GSM versions tho.

You can not use a Sprint phone on AT & T.  Frequency bands are different and one is CDMA (Sprint) the other is GSM (AT&T).  This will never work.

Any luck?

Just commending you on posting that link as a S4 owner, this would be wonderful to do when the S6s come, out.

(Thus the post I am bookmarketing "by putting search in" it to search later)

uvwvj - Samsung Galaxy S4 unlock

Since this method is working on some of the galaxy S3`s and Galaxy Notes i see no reason not to work with S6`s Smiley

*DISCLAIMER* this procedure can brick your device , i am not responsible it this happens. Just follow the instructions carefully and you should be ok.  This worked for me (T-Mobile Galaxy S4 and my Friends too).

0. make sure the battery is fully charged
1. Type  *#0011# and press send
2. Press Menu, then Back key. Then Menu again and select "key input". Spress 1 and confirm with "Ok"
3. This will get you into service mode
4. Press "menu" again and "back" again. this will open "Main menu" in "ServiceMode".
5. Select UMTS
6. Then select "Debug screen"
7. Press "Phone control"
8. When in Phone control select "Network Lock"
9. when in "Network lock" select "PERSO SHA256 OFF"
10. Now press "menu" then select "back" from the selection.
11. When in "Main menu" select "Common" followed by "nv rebuild"
12. There will be a text notifying you that "Golden backup exists"
13 select "restore backup"
14. Leave the phone be now, it will go trough all the procedures involved ( first the sceen will freeze, then youll get a blank screen+Blue LED flashing and buttons iluminated. Then it will reboot. It only takes a couple of minutes. Once it boots up it should be network unlocked permanently.

Please read it carefully and go trough menus carefully. Be patient and everything will work. Do not pull the battery during restore backup and make sure the battery is fully charged)

If it prompts you for the "Sim network unlock pin"  after reboot, just go trugh the procedure again.

if it works my wallet adress is  : 15V9G2jLycHPKZiCgGgVcwuDtTDHeyCoky (and if anyone else finds this helpfull and unlock his device a tip is much appreciated)

Good luck and let me know when it works Smiley
