The shopping cart is working, I just need to fix the code that deals with inventory.
Today I ran into a strange problem and had to use a backup, it was not related to the bitcoin module, it was a login problem related to oscommerce.

I have set up a display image for testing purposes, and some calling cards.

all suggestions on how to get inventory working are welcome, what I mean by inventory, lets say you have 1 item for sale, and it sells, then the item should no longer be available, but it is.

For items that do not depend on inventory, the module works fine.

Weex, is the bounty for the 4.75 btc still available?, I have a  store using your module, and it is running, however it is running in test mode, and very soon I will have it in production mode, by very soon I mean less than a week if everything goes fine, and it will be selling digital good, mostly voip calling cards.
Thanks for the modules, it runs great, once I got it to run.

The store must be publicly accessible and should offer something cheap(<$2) and preferably downloadable so people aren't turned off by the cost to test it. osCommerce handles downloadable goods so it shouldn't be too big a stretch to get working.

Just wanted to reiterate that something downloadable - could be some sort of a map to a large coffee chain  Grin - would allow people to test this and could be sold easily sub-$2.

I may pick up a copy this weekend and get it up and running if no one else picks this up.  I sell vinyl decals online, which start at about USD $3 shipped.

@globalbtc
what goods do you have for $2?

That's the only thing I have listed for less than $2 right now, but I'll put some more up today.

@REF Thanks very much for the insight on oscommerce vs. other shopping carts. I am aware of and actually created this module starting with the other one. What this adds is automatic processing of received payments.

That being said, I found a module for Zencart on github that can probably use the bitcoind-handling code from this module after some research into Zencart's code and database.

I believe someone already made a bitcoin plugin for oscommerce but another one never hurts. I think it would of been better if you made it for zencart or maybe nopcommerce. Oscommerce hasnt had a release in a long time many people are moving away from it. My newest ecommerce site will be running nopcommerce when I get it set up, otherwise I would of Tried testing out your module.

I don't run an osCommerce store, but I'm able to sell physical goods for $2. If someone wants to set me up a store, I can do it.

Sorry I haven't had a chance to do it but it'll be gplv3 for as much of it as I can.

It is now licensed under GPLv3.

What is the license on this software?

Looks cool!  Interested in seeing the store when it is up.

Hello folks,

In the interest of getting this project tested, I'm starting a bounty to the first person other than myself who uses the osCommerce Bitcoin Payment module available here : https://github.com/weex/oscommerce-bitcoin

The store must be publicly accessible and should offer something cheap(<$2) and preferably downloadable so people aren't turned off by the cost to test it. osCommerce handles downloadable goods so it shouldn't be too big a stretch to get working.

The bounty address is here if you want to contribute: 1D3NrskpzB5Ydzs2RByDavbqqenbksgNoB

Thanks,

weex
