What is this?
I don't understand.
Bitcop is trying to extort bitpop with fake personal information and trying to get you to believe that bitpop is actually bitp0p, so that he can get the 5BTC bounty. However the provided information by Bitcop is fake and can be found on the internet.

Exactly but I'm wondering why he thinks I'd bite
Scammers are dumb low lifes

This is the information he's about to sell you, I don't know why he showed me though lol

Easy. Chance of a double payday.

Mr. Gresham,

Okay, maybe you need something more than that.

Here it is:
ROWAN GRESHAM
5 GALLAS COURT
BUNDOORA VUC 3083

This is nothing compared to the rest I have in my hands.

Can you please now check your bitp0p account and reply?

bitcop

Can you take a look, does it belong to you?

Okay then.

I give you the rest half an hour to think about it.

If you don't reply I am giving everything to tzortz for my bounty.

you have 9 more minutes, and I am off.

Same scammer is now trying to scam me

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/extortionist-scammer-bitcop-672971

https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/bitcop-350362

I know who you are, and what you did.

I do not want to give the information to tzortz, he is mad and he will go straight to the police, which will jeopardise also my position.

Give me the 5 btc bounty and I will not show anything about you and what you have done.

You have only 1 hour to do it, otherwise I will get the bounty through tzortz, I can risk it.

It is better that way, for both of us.

Do not waste your time, you will get shocked when you realize that I have solid proof for what you have done.

Here is my address:

I am so careful now, I lost 8.2BTC.

I am not losing a single satoshi from now on.

Thanks for the advice.

You got a cheap lesson

I've lost much more in the early days

8.2BTC was an expensive lesson for me.

How much was your loss?

Most recently I lost 10 to neo bee

Around 50 to bfl last year

Unfortunately, you are wrong. It only indicates the nodes which broadcasted it first, which means it is the one that is connected to the client. It is only a node which is relaying transactions, not sending it. The person might be using a online wallet service, you cannot track it.

I think now is very simple to find him. Just contact cloud service company and ask them whois behind that node. The only question is if that ip is from scammer or from a regular node that do just the transactions. someone with more technical knowledge can answer this.

Wrong sections guys. You'll never find this guy, the account will be thrown, the IPs will be garbage (even if Theymos gives them you) and the coins will be tumbled too many times to mean anything to law enforcement. Else I'd be looking for the account surpbitcoin for 8 btc as well.
