3rd world knows about crypto sometimes more than people from developed countries, because they do not trust their national currency and banks, they try to find alternative in virtual currency’s, and they also invest in ICOs too. I think that first real adaptation may came particularly from the 3rd world.

The signature campaigns help in spreading awareness, but I agree that 99% of the twitter and facebook campaigns probably do fuck all because 99% of them are just fake profiles adverting to other fake profiles. There will be a small amount of genuine users advertising to their friends and family etc but I'm not sure how many of them will be suckered in to investing if any at all. If know if I saw any of that nonsense on my friends list I'd just remove those people. Either way, when you pay in tokens you've created out of thin air it doesn't matter either way because it's still free advertising at the end of the day for them so they will continue to do it because they've got nothing at all to lose by doing it.

OP tries to tackle to things here the success of ICO bounty campaigns here in the forum and spam here in the forum. I don't know how he connected 3rd world countries for their lack of success and for the contribution of spam. He doesn't even have the date to support both claims. He is clearly reaching something to prove a point which he hopefully wants for others to agree. Bounty advertisement may not yield to high quality results due to its current standards but it has still been profitable because its still an effective means to publicize. Keep in mind that third world countries are not populated by 100% poor citizens. Or are you really just that narrow minded?

I am from the denominated "third world" (notice that this definition was minted in the WWII to spare the countries with wicker economies from participating in the great war...), so, according to you, I must go? When you see 2 Facebook (or twitter...) pages with 20,000 fans from five world countries and the other with 2,000 from first word countries, well, apart from the fact that you will not know from where the majority come from, you tend to trust more the first one which seems successful.
Another thing is if this method wasn't successful and profitable they will stop using it which isn't the case for the moment.
