Yes, there are some campaigns, neglecting bounty hunters after finishing the bounty program. Before starting any bounty program, do a project (ICO) analysis also do deep research about the bounty manager managing group. Other you will lose your valuable time. Scam ICOs are not paying after completing after completing their targets. When you found that kind or bounty or ICO, please share and publish information about them. That will help control the scam ICO activities.

Man, what you're saying is correct. Unfortunately, it can sometimes happen that we are not paid for our efforts, and this can be very frustrating.

So it is better to choose the right bounties where to participate.

If you want to have a look and get some information in a good Bounty campaign that has just started, I can suggest you RAWG.

They have just started a very rich bounty program for everyone who is willing to participate:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--3333252

with a nice referral program that can double your rewards.

The ICO site is this one: RAWG. It's a video game discovery platform that converts your skills into goods and services.

You can earn tokens by playing your favorite games. The site is already working, with more than 50,000 games in the database and new games are getting added every day. This is the site: https://rawg.io/

Quite good looking, don't you think?

You can also join the airdrop here.

I hope this information is helpful!

You are right, not every project is real paying the bountier, but just in case if the project is a scam project, investor also lost their invested money.

Some misunderstand the campaign rules, it leads some issue sometimes, just imagine the last day of the ICO sales is March 29, last day of bounty is March 20 and the rules says payment distribution  is one month after the ICO end,  but just after the campaign period some people are asking about payment on the telegram group, and the official campaign thread,  when it does says the date of the payment, asking  update is okay, but don't blame the manager for not getting pays after the campaign since it's the hunters fault not to understand the rules carefully, and some started to tell this project is scam , they will not pay you bla bla bla

Try to look around there are posts about good bounty managers.

Hello ! I have also been subjected to a fraudulent project and not paid a reward. We are discussing and giving out  : “ List of Campaign Managers Latest Post(Sig & Twitter Campaign) for Bounty Hunter” https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-of-campaign-managers-latest-postsig-twitter-campaign-for-bounty-hunter-2842283 .
You can find trusted managers who join the campaigns they manage. You also have to look closely at the dev team and the roadmap of the project to participate

Go to this great thread made by Hakamura - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bounties-the-managers-smersy-3051158 . You will find there a spreadsheet with respected bounty managers and their current + previous bounties. If you wan't to look for the most solid campaigns, you have to check it.

Very interesting topic this one you've posted. I think is better to join only campaigns with respected bounty managers if we want to be paid!

The Bounty Campaigns that are mostly not paying are those that are being managed by the Newbie or Jr. Member. If you want to join a campaign that is really paying, search for the campaign managers with high rank like Legendary or Hero Member. I've seen a thread that suggests trusted campaign managers.

Before joining bounty campaigns, I check first for who the campaign manager is and then check out what the project is about and who are the people behind the project. I believe having a trusted person run a campaign gives the campaign some form of credibility until otherwise.

Except some scam project ( most of it still pay bounty), i think there aren't any campaign do that. Because almost bounty campaign focus on marketing purpose, so if they don't pay, they will receive negative responding from community, thus project will fail, no one want that. And plus, they pay by their token/ coin, it mean they do not lose any things for bounty-ers  Grin

it is very difficult to choose which ICO is scam which is not. Even experienced bounty managers can be deceived. It's just the difference if with the experienced bounty managers we can be a little quieter because the chances are small.

Absolutely yes there is, its what they call scam ICO's after get some investment from people and being advertise by many user of this forum to social media, forum, etc they just leave after earning some cash and create another new project to do it again.

As a newbie its more safe to Join bounty project that is handled by well-known bounty manager here in forum, to lessen the chance of wasting time on promoting them and not get paid after all.

Bounty campaigns can pay or they do not after the tenor time is done to its participants.
It is all up to the bounty manager who is in charge of running the campaign.
That is about it.
Just hope and pray they are an honest individual and not a scammer who is running it once it is finished so you actually get something for the time you spent working for them.

Is there a bounty campaign that would not pay after finishing the project? that leaves the peoples who contributed on the campaign unpayed?
after  a few months of work they leave the participants like nothing has happened?
Yes sometimes there are campaigns are made only to scam people just like what happen before.

if there is something like that how can we avoid such thing?
many of us specially newbies want to earn some real cash but if something like that would happen that would be a real nightmare
imagine after a long weeks of work you only get nothing?
To avoid them you should need to hire a trusted escrow here with escrowed amount of bitcoin if you find a campaign with escrowed bitcoin it means that the campaign is safe and trusted but if you found a bounty campaign without escrowed bitcoin expect that campaign could be scam and run.
That is why campaign managers here in the forum are carefully choose a trusted project or business to promote.

yes some of them pretends to be good at the initial stage but end up being scam.
So if they feel that bounty is scam  they must get it out before its too late cause they wont get any payment for thier work.  I recommend that only join in bounty campaign that is manage by an experience member,

Bounty campaigns can be scams. After all you're trusting some forum avatar to pay you for your work. It can happen or not.
I think that the best way to avoid it is joining campaigns that pay every week. If you get scammed it won't be a big deal and you won't lose much time and money. You can also join campaigns that are running for some time.

most ico token are scam or eventually turned scam,
so even if you're getting paid by the tokens it will worth nothing when it turned scam
try to find one with weekly payment and non-strict hodl policy, so you can sell immediately
if you believe in the project, feel free to hodl and take the risk but I suggest be ready with an exit plan
the safest way is to find bounties with btc, eth or other prominent crypto payment Tongue

Unfortunately this happens way too often. You have to realize that by taking part in a bounty campaign you're taking a risk because most of them are managed by new people that aren't risking anything here. They can use you to promote their ICO, profit from it and abandon the account.
You can always do some research about the coin/service they're promoting. If it looks like a scam, the campaign will also be one. You can look for experienced bounty managers, not join campaigns managed by new accounts, request some money to be put on escrow. These things will minimize the risk. Good luck.

You are not the first one and not the last one being scammed one way or another. Scammers are everywhere, scam project, scam bounty managers, literally everywhere.
So be more informed and such things will be more difficult to happen.
Check the managers if they are trustworthy, check the project, team, links in LinkedIn, to be sure they are real, roadmap, and so on...

While you’re lookin for a campaign to join, you need to further check their background. Check the people who are behind it. Check the people facilitating it. Check the history of the company, you can also check their achievements and successful campaigns. For short, it’s like you checking them out, checking their resume for you to look at so that they can be trusted and so that people joining them would work seriously to help them reach their full potential.
