PLEASE

contact mtgox support and refer to ticket 57703.
then also please have someone (or do it yourself) add up withdrawals, buys and sells and see if they add up with the deposits.

if you come up clean, alright. if you find they're REALLY missing, we have a case.

update in 1st post.
please PM me if you'd like to accept the challenge for the Bounty.

Last time, 5 ppl just started to go at it and each demanded the bounty. no fun.

~90 BTC missing isnt a "bot error".

job awarded to  ironcross360, see what comes around.

I wasn't aware of the magnitude, that is a bit more than I had expected. Good luck.

When importing CSV files you can specify the decimal seperator. Also you could run a simple search + replace on the file. The "ugly hack" version would be to just divide or multiply by 1000 Wink

So if it's simple, you request only little bounty? ;-D
What is the bounty amount? Also have you tried a different cvs reader (like google docs) that might have different controls or locale awareness.

Failing that I might be able to take a look this weekend.

Are you sure it wasn't just a bot error, part of the fee, or other typically little piece of the puzzle that may have just been amplified?

Do you have certain addresses in mind or what exactly is the problem?

My understanding is that you traded for some time on MtGox (EUR and USD) and are thinking now that you miss a certain (or uncertain) amount - you now want somebody to go through your trading history and tell you according to that data how much money you should have as evidence that you actually do have less than you should.

Have you tried just using Excel and a few conditions?

I have used Excel, but I suck at it. I am in the EU and am unable to succesfully converte 1,000.15 (US format) to 1.000,15 (EU format)

Also, I have a buying and a selling bot, and each and every transaction (even for 0.0000001) has its own line.
I had hoped someone had had some experience with this so as to not having to invent the wheel twice.

You "only" need to

- look for a moment where € and BTC balance is 0
- sum up sales, buys, deposits, withdrawals for € and BTC
- and see where you and up at.

Hi,

I am certain that some deposits from the night of the .7/.8 crash are missing on mtgox.
Support staunchly
Sadly, I don't have the resources at hand to downrigt PROVE it.

I would supply the last 3 months worth of

BTC history (redacted)

as .csv and have you get at it.

I trust that the data will be kept confidentially.

I surely don't know how you would accomplish this, surely by some sort of codery magick.
let me know what bounty you would deem acceptable (2 BTC at the moment).

As of the last line of this file, I have ZERO BTC in the account.
You will want to go backward in time up until this line:
55761,"2013-03-06 18:38:45",deposit,1FAn6K6kAfDzJgFk39r1Xp1ifps4DFDGmE,0.44,0.44

I think this would be a nice starting point, since before this item, I also had ZERO BTC in the account.

So if the deposits actually happened, all BUY SELL WITHDRAW actions should add up to a number equal to all DEPOSIT actions.

So when all BUY SELL WITHDRAWS are actually LESS than all DEPOSITS, it's clear that some deposits are missing (although they show up in the DEPOSIT history).

I hope that's clear to understand - any questions, please ask here.
