About OpenBits
[/size]
OpenBits (
http://openbits.world) incentivises developers to create those small packages that lay the foundation to all the complex applications we use day by day.
Open Source (hereinafter OS) developers create software on a daily basis. While their main target is usually to create full-fledged applications that can handle complex tasks in specific scenarios, several OS developers often create (and use) small software (i.e. packages) aimed to simplify their life (or the life of other developers) when facing common and very specific development tasks.
Very often, these small packages are written in specific programming languages that are published on dedicated Package Managers. However, currently, there is not a fast and simple
way for developers of Open Source packages to be rewarded from their creations.
OpenBits addresses the above issues by supplying to
OS packages developers a chance to be rewarded immediately when other developers install their packages. Also, developers can choose to split rewards with other people that trust very early in their OpenBits packages.
And there is much more!
The more developers publish packages and use packages developed by other developers, the more the community (what we call the MULTIVERSE)
receives shares of OpenBits itself!
OpenBits supplies a web application (
http://openbits.world) and a Command Line Interface (
https://www.npmjs.com/package/openbits).
By using them, you can publish your OpenBits (currently only node packages are allowed) and you can install OpenBits of other publishers. OpenBits also hosts a Profit Sharing Community on community.xyz (
https://community.xyz/#6eTVr8IKPNYbMHVcpHFXr-XNaL5hT6zRJXimcP-owmo), where all the governance-related tasks are performed by means of our Profit Sharing Token: OPENBITS.

the bounty gives you an opportunity to have a voice in the future evolution of OpenBits!
To do that, you are required to
publish on OpenBits one of the node packages you have authored. Read more about how to use OpenBits here:
http://openbits.world. If you want to have more insights on the functioning of OpenBits, take a look at the green paper (
https://gitlab.com/cervoneluca/openbits). When you feel comfortable in using OpenBits, fulfil the following requirements in order to be rewarded with 100 OPENBITS.
Requirements
To accomplish this opportunity you need to:
Step 1:Join and follow OPENBITS on Discord and go to the channel dedicated to this bounty so we can verify that you are the actual owner/developer of the package (
https://discord.gg/ZYjAwXk);

https://www.npmjs.com/package/openbits) or by using the Web Application (
http://openbit.world). Also, be sure to add a disclaimer in the README of your package to make explicit that the package is published also (or only) on OpenBits. The following is an example of a disclaimer (you can read a complete disclaimer on the readme of the Batrandom test package
https://gitlab.com/cervoneluca/batrandom): "This package is only/also served through OpenBits (
http://openbits.world)"
Step 3: send us your ARWEAVE Wallet Address in order to receive 100 OPENBITS (locked for ~1 month);
Step 4: don’t cancel the disclaimer, after ~1 month you’ll be able to unlock your OPENBITS;
