Just built it and get the same crash, so you definitely have a real bug. I can build and run litecoin just fine.
The source has litecoin.icns in it as the whole thing is a straight fork of litecoin and should build just the same as litecoin..so possibly it is your buildchain.

I mentioned above, src/qt/res/icons/mincoin.icns isn't there. That probably doesn't affect the Windows/Linux versions because the .icns is the one used for OSX apps, not Win/Linux.
As to the crashing, pass. If it works on Windows/Linux there's some subtle cross-platform bug there. It's not like I intentionally broke it before building it
The next person to try building it will probably find exactly the same result unless my buildchain is fucked somehow, which is always possible I guess.

code for what...what is it thats not there that you need because we have two perfectly working windows and linux binaries from that source

I copied the bitcoin.icns, you can fix it in the resulting .app easily enough anyway by just replacing it in Resources/
