I think for newbies like us, we are just hoping that our luck will always be our side. We don' have any expi or portfolio that we can show to those company but if our luck comes, don' waste time to impress those people who are watching us.

I want to participate in bounty tranlation campaigns. The fact is I haven't done any before, my profile of translation is empty. Thus, bounty managers are likely to decline my application.

Can you guys share your experience about the first time you get translation job for bounty? How to persuade the managers that you qualify?

Try finding your luck on other managers especially those managers that is part of their team. As much as possible try to be first one that will reserved the language. Depends on the language, sometimes there are few translators while on the other hand, other translatios have so much works on their hands so they will take a break for reservation.

Just try and try. Just keep in mind that all translators started on a scratch. Compete on it or stopped.

If you think you can translate a project websites with withepaper and other documents into a language recognize by the team as credible then you need to show samples of your work.this is how it is done when you are newbie without any portfolio to show: translate other bounty campaigns and without any intention of financial gain, about 5 to 10 past bounty projects will do. You then use it to apply for new projects

Every person joining in translation campaigns had his first experience, you should definetely find a campaign which would accept you.

Additionally, you could try building your portfolio on freelancer sites or by using copyright-free sample texts online; there's even a volunteer translator site called Translators Without Borders you could look into. Let us know how bitoingarden.org worked out for you...

It depends of each bounty rules: if there's no special guides, you just need to make a post in thread and make a proof to your experience

Was about to say "i have the same questions" then i saw this, is this really possible? to turn in translation non crypto related? And be accepted?
If you have a portfolio of translation in any other area than you can show it as an example of your abilities. Crypto translations is not the only one to show )

I remember some saying that you should try to do translations for small time projects or even for free, justo broaded up your portfolio.

You guys are right. I also check profiles of several other bounty hunters, and figure out they had many translation articles on bitcoingarden.org. I think that's the way they offered free translation to build a reliable profile. I'll try to follow that way.
