Hey there. The Spot Project Team, of which I am not a member, believe in community engagement and I think this is a great idea. It helps the community feel like they are actually a part of the project.
Sure, they could go to a professional design agency and spend a lot of money on branding, but there are plenty of great amateur designers out there in the crypto community and crypto is all about community. What is better than allowing the community to be involved in something so prevalent as the coin's logo.

Logo Criteria
- Must contain blue
- Submitted as high resolution image preferably vector-based / re-sizable
- Must look good on black or white backgrounds, in gray scale, black and white, small, large, icon, and as a transparency
- Logo has to look good and be legible at all sizes
- Should not infringe on other copyrights
- Needs to be recognizable as an icon
- Should be able to be coined (look good on a coin)
- Image Size must be 10MB or smaller and 2500 x 2500 Pixels for best upload results
- SMCP Team will pick the Finalists which will include the top 3 finishers. Finalists will submit revisions. After revisions are sent in, the official winner will be picked
