It's a unanimous decision for Garcia but Redkach proved to be a very tough customer, I just notice that Garcia is very slow on this fight although he is till connecting those hard punches, I don't think he can match up Pacquiao's speed and strength, whom he wants to challenge.

Here's the whole match
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WysLlvKdfhs

Watch some snippet of the fight, wasn't that much entertaining, yeah, notice that Garcia is somewhat very slow, I don't know if he is not comfortable fighting a lefty here or just very tentative throwing his punches. Pacquiao will definitely have a advantage if he chooses to fight Garcia next. Even at his age, Pacquiao is a lefty and still has the speed to knock out/down his opponents.

Not really a very impressive match for Garcia and he admitted that in his interview, he should have knock Redkach, so he can become a threat again in the division but he is having a hard time on his defense Redkach any times connect a body shot, he needs a more impressive match than this, but a win is still a win.

I don't like a boxer whose giving some piece of trash talks. If he's confidence with himself he'd rather choose to be humble instead of making a prejudgements towards an opponent. That made me remember with previous opponents of Manny Pacquiao, all of them was all taken down. Because of their trash talks they ended up loser. Good thing about Redkach while remaining so silent about it.

is this the Garcia that Manny Pacquiao Beat years ago?well he made a good fight back then and now he will facing this REd HEaded boxer, wait let me check his stats.

it is Garcia is in advantage on this bout because Redkach seems to be behind his record but also a knock out puncher.

maybe i will go for Garcia for this, does the Odds already released?can someone share how much is the Odds?

You need to double-check or do research because Danny Garcia has never met Pacquiao, and the fight already happen Garcia already won by a unanimous decision over Redkach kinda loop sided match the video of the fight was even posted on one of the post, posters like you misled people and you should read the whole content from the thread,

I can see Redkach as very discreet with his capacity to fight against Garcia. Being a knock out puncher, I think if he will enhance that with other qualities and strategy, maybe this will open up a potential factor that he got more advantage compared with Garcia.
Most important right now, while the fight isn't happening yet both of them shouldn't ingnore the abilities of their opponent.

Is it just me, or do both of these guys look like they rolled their hair on with a wallpaper roller? Something is off about both of their domes.

In any case, Garcia is definitely going to stomp Redkach... The guy lost against the MUCH smaller Shawn Porter and then tried to blame cutting weight...

If that's the case, don't take the fight. The reach advantage and overall muscle mass should have closed the gap, but he still got KO'd.

This isn't a competitive fight by any means, I wont be watching.

As others have said, it was a complete domination from Danny Garcia. Redkach has nothing to offer, I have it Garcia winning 11 rounds out of 12. But the official judges scorecard are:

Judge Tony Paolillo scored 10 rounds for Garcia (118-110), while judges Glenn Feldman and Don Trella scored (117-111).

https://www.boxingscene.com/danny-garcia-dominates-ivan-redkach-results--146213

So there's no upset whatsoever, Who is D. Garcia fighting next? Pacquiao or Spence?

Both of them are stylistically good for D. Garcia, but I'm sure majority of us wanted to see him testing against the legendary Manny Pacquiao. There have been talks when Pacquiao won against Thurman, so maybe PBC are going to set this one up for a huge payday for D. Garcia.

I would rather see him fight Pacquiao next. His been calling Manny and as you have mentioned they are both on PBC camp so this is possible they could begin negotiations right after the match.

Previously, I said this is a mismatch, which we already see in this fight. Garcia is just like toying with Redkach in the later rounds and not being threaten in any way. I just didn't see Garcia's left hook though, he uses more of his right. Maybe because Redkach is a south paw and this is just a test on how Garcia will fight specially if Manny, who is the best lefty we have in boxing.

Isn't it more surprising if RedKach will able to knockout Garcia?

Look at the odds, Garcia is 98% heavily favored so I don't understand why OP should be watching how Garcia will perform instead of the underdog RedKach. A slugger opponent or not, I see Garcia will dominate this fighter.

I'm thinking why Garcia's camp choose RedKach? Any insiders about this several months ago?ut
Basing stats then you can really see the difference with experience and even Garcia is heavily favorite on here but he shouldnt really take this fight confidently.
I do saw that Redkach is capable to make an upset fight and basing on KO percentage, this guy do sure pack some punch.Even though my bet is still on Garcia but lets see on what would happen.
Stats could help see the difference. I have seen some of garcia's fights and it's good fight. Even if garcia have more experience that his opponent but I don't think garcia wouldn't train seriously after all danny garcia is acceptable to fight manny pacquiao. All we can do now is wait for the result of the match.

What do you mean not train seriously? In this match? It will be a disaster for him, or for any boxers not to train and take their opponents seriously.

Don't look for the next fight, AJ lost to Ruiz in the first fight because he is looking for the big fight against Wilder or Fury, and that is his downfall. Garcia should win this match in my book though.

I agree with you mate. There's no such thing as an easy fight in boxing because anything could happen if you are not serious in your preparation. I know that Garcia will take Redkach seriously as this is his ticket for a fight win Manny which could be the biggest of his life in terms of money.

Of course, he is heavily favored he is a knock out artist and one of his punch can always end the bout unless the guy he is fighting has a rock-solid jaw, I'm on Garcia here, he is also my favorite to win this game, I hope he can get back into title contention it's been a long time that he has a good fight with a good boxer.

Ok for fight fans out there:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGTEcxLICMU - DANNY GARCIA VS IVAN REDKACH - FULL WEIGH IN VIDEO & FACE OFF

Quote
“Danny is already looking ahead to a fight with Errol Spence Jr. or Manny Pacquiao, but before he gets to them, he picked me,” Redkach said. “I know it’s because I’m a southpaw. But he’s going to get a rude [awakening] on fight night.

“This win will change my life and I’ve already worked my whole life to get to this moment. I want to win this fight and then the biggest fights at welterweight will be open to me. Right now, I’m only focused on my fight Saturday night.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/redkach-garcias-counting-on-tune-up-ill-knock-him-out--146194

So let's see if he can derail Danny Garcia's plan here and make the division open again. Last two weeks if I'm not mistaken, there was an upset on the 154 division when unheralded Jeison Rosario vs Julian Williams (30-1 underdog). Julian lost his IBF/IBO/WBA belts to Rosario.

I think this is just a cherry pick fight for Danny Garcia. Yes, Redkach has some power, but I don't think that he can last the full 12 rounds with Garcia here. He is tough fighter, but Danny has all the tools to soften this guy. Remember that Redkach is old as well, too many wear and tear and I think this will be a big factor in this fight. And we can't compare him to Porter, he throws more jab which I think Garcia has no problem countering all day with his checkered left hook.

Right, as far as match making in concern, this is a mismatch. I mean Danny Garcia is a 2 time defending welterweight champion. Why the hell did his team chooses to fight a B-side fighter which majority of us haven't heard?

Although Redkach has won three fights in a row, Danny will simply overwhelm him. And that is why the odds are not really attractive to bet.

I just don't care how it's going to be attractive in their coming fight, and let's see how Redkach can show off against Danny. Though in the records of Garcia, is really impressive compared to Redkach and now this the most awaited part for they matched up for a very unpredictable game. Possibly a hype would come out against Danny, and I think tha challenger will become an underdog of this.

This can be said of many sports like Rugby American Football and mma
Swimming is more healthy because there is not physical contact and you lose weight  but boxing is a popular sports bringing in many more revenue

All sports are dangerous depends on the level of the performance of a player or when tragedies happen in the event, except for chess and other board game sports. Swimming can also be dangerous if a swimmer suddenly experience cramps in their body if they don't do warm ups. So don't say that swimming is much healthy, it depends.

Why did you choose to post in a boxing thread anyways you can just root for the man with the pink hair

Maybe he posted it because it is still part of gambling in sports. It is still related and he is just worried about the people who love boxing rather than low-intensity sports. Anyway, Danny Garcia will defeat Redkach just like his last fight.

I think no one will place a bet on the winner of this game except those who will bet on the underdog.I think that the best odd offer is the Over or Under as it seems more realistic.I would bet on Over 6.5 rounds because I always like to back the underdog in this kind of betting. After all they are both human so you never know what happens but I don’t think we will have any surprise here,it is just me that want to see one.

I always want a result that surprises especially in matches that are highly one-sided that it should not have been made at all in the first place. With odds of 1.04 vs. 11.00. This match is between two fighters who are clearly not on the same level.

Gotta have to be on the side of risk in this match for a decent win.

Hahahaha, I think he/she is just trolling or maybe really don't want boxing and have some problem with sports that is about hurting each other just like boxing, which is more on direct contact with opponent.
yeah and maybe he is a type of person that dont really want someone to be hurt though it is exaggerated not to expect hurt in every sports because that is part of each game
You think guys this odds will change before the fight? Like we can see some even 60-40 odds.

RedKach is a Good boxer and there is no debate about that, but looking at his performance and records from the previous fights?i cannot see any reason why the odds will be lowered before the fight succeeded, not like the last fight of Manny Pacquiao that Odds from the beginning comes closer while game is coming near, but in this one?Garcia really in the Big advantage and that will not change at any ways.

same though here because i thought garcia will face different opponent this year and also looking forward to face Manny Pacquiao again but i think this wont be happen again.

Garcia will surely win this fight as Redkach is by all mean underdog in this event.about the reason why Garcia's camp chooses Redkach?nothing other than Money of course or they wanted to promote Redkach to be the next in line for the main events sooner.

Boxing Records for these two great boxers.
Danny Garcia has the advantage on the professional records while the height and reach is favor on Ivan Redkach.
There could be a chance for Ivan Redkach to dominate the fight.
But Danny Garcia is totally beast boxer and even on the sportsbet the odds is extremely high for Danny Garcia.
Looking forward for more odds changes  tomorrow.

Fight: Danny Garcia-Redkach
When: January 25, 2020
Venue: Barclays Center

Wanted to see how Danny Garcia is going to perform against Redkach here. This is a title eliminator, Redkach is no push over, he is a slugger that's why it will be interesting to see how Danny will react to this kind of fighter. He lost against a slugger, Shawn Porter, but I'm sure Danny can adjust his style against Redkach here. I'm not going to be surprised if he is going to knock out Redkach by 10th rounds.
