So Inoue's team decided to take fight outside Japan? thats some news.

That is, but he had actually fought outside Japan before.

If you look at his record https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/628407... of his 26 fights, he had 4 fights outside Japan.
I know he is the champion, so the fight should be in his home country, but it's just not possible to fight Nery in Japan because the latter is ban in this country.

sad reality.

I think it's going to be good for Inoue to really fight outside of Japan, and if I remember it correctly, during the WBSS tournament, he fought outside of his native country. Anyhow, is he want Neri next, then the fight is going to be in the US or as where the fights is held right now, in Saudi.

Good exposure, good money, so they will definitely have to go to that direction.

And the fight is going to be explosive as well, as Neri is a hard puncher but I think Inoue beat all of this boxers by knockout.

You own the pen
It's good that he is taking his step slowly by giving the others a chance to get those titles from him and it's different merits and pride when they get it from Inoue via TKO or Unanimous Decisions. But that's not easy for them and they have just seen how easily he knocked out Tapales despite his preparations and training. they really need to work hard and think of a working strategy to cause him to lose his focus in order to win against him. This is only accomplished by a boxer with huge punch power and the same or more fast than him because right now if they have light punch then whatever training they prepare will always be not enough.

So for those fans of Inoue out there or into this community. What you can you say into this title defense? Specially into those people who are
really that keep pushing about Casimero vs Inoue fight?

Naoya Inoue Plans To Defend His 122lb Title 3 Times In 2024
Naoya Inoue’s promoter, Hideyuki Ohashi, has confirmed his fighter will defend his undisputed super bantamweight title three times next year, with the fights taking place between Japan and Saudi Arabia.

Luis Nery
•Murodjon Akhmadaliev
•John Riel Casimero

So these are the fighters which is already in line.Quite interesting eh?

That's a good call if they are going to fight in Saudi instead of Japan, they have to realized by now that big oil money in boxing and it should be in the Middle East. I do agree about their target, Luis Nery first, because he is WBC's #1, or so he is the mandatory, and this one, either US or Saudi Arabia.

Second fight is again another great fight, Inoue has the 2 belts that Akhmadaliev used to have, so that will be their storyline.

Casimero, brandish trash talking Filipino, we have been waiting for this fight since the bantamweight division and there could be a lot of hype in this fight and maybe it will be in Japan.

Inoue has all the right to demand the fight to be in Japan and promotions will still make money in the country. it will just be about money still.

fighting Tank Davis is gonna be a challenge for Inoue, he is a monster in the lighter division but there are bigger monsters on top. he will be crushed along the way when his weight takes its toll. but it will be an easy fight with Nery.

I also think that Tank Davis is too much for Inoue.  Looking at their current weight class  I think 135 lbs is too much for Naoya Inoue where he is only at 122 at this moment.  The only chance Inoue can have an advantage is when they decided to fight in a catch weight category where Tank Davis has  to severely dehydrate himself.  Just like how Manny Pacquiao fight and beat his heavier and bigger opponent.

Besides he still have some opponent that he has not beaten within his class weight.  Going up is the only option if he has already beaten the toughest opponent in his division and no other way but to go up in Division and try if he can still dominate it.

Tank Davis already shuts down that idea of him and Inoue fighting,

Quote
“I’m not fighting him,” Davis posted on Instagram. “He’s NO WHERE near my weight..[I don’t know] why this page keep posting sh!t like this.”

https://www.boxingscene.com/gervonta-davis-shuts-down-talk-fighting-naoya-inoue-hes-nowhere-near-my-weight--180320

If Inoue targets Neri, it should be in Japan as Neri is ban from fighting in Japan because he was caught with Peds under his system. And it seems that Neri is their first target after unifying the belts.

So I guess it will be him and then Murodjon Akhmadaliev as his mandatory for the WBA belt.

Not sure about Casimero, he has nothing to offer but hype and noise.

Naoya Inoue has shown he is not only a big deal in Japan but he is currently the best in his division. His is an amazing fighter that has great defense and great strength, punch power, he has not gotten the respect he deserves in US just yet despite bitten some very good US talents.
I think currently I value him as the best in his division and I would love to see him climb up weight to get more recognition and ab even bigger fights like Inuoe vs tank Davis, this would be an exciting match to watch out for.

It is a good thing that Inoue's camp decided to make the title defense outside Japan, this makes the title defense fight a bit more interesting. About the list of possible contender, I think it is not final, yes?  It all depends on who is the boxer on the line and according to the 122lbs ranking this might be the people who are best candidate for as a challenger :

This isn't updated but we can see some hint of the possible challenger for those 3 title defense:

There is a possibility of a rematch, Luis Nery, Sam Goodman and Murodjon Akhmadalieve  has more chance of being a challenger than J R Casimero.  Unless Casimero works out his worth to be a challenger and move up in ranking.

He once tweeted two title defenses in his current division, that's just the information he sent out not sure if he will fight Casimero and whether he will fight outside Japan. It's said he is ducking Casimero since he is ignoring this man. If the Saudis can offer huge money for their fight to be held in the desert why not?

But decisions can change in one fight under this division, Inoue will pursue the more exciting division.  If he can go and fight Gervonta, it will really make a big fight in 2024. This will be the fight of the year even.
Money changes everything and Glory would really be just that second in line.So it wont be shocking that Inoue might really be changing up his mind and since there already those names
being mentioned then most likely it would really happen into this year. It would be exciting on how he would be able to beat up this 3.

What interest me and i do able to read up about those talks about Inoue vs Tank on which Tank said that it is really that a mismatch. Is he really that too confident or just belittling Inoue's capability?

the possible match with Tank for me is still premature. still very early to make arrangement for this. but with the current lineup of potential opponents, i am surprised with the inclusion of casimero's name as i was thinking that casimero needs to fight bigger names first before inoue.
but more then likely, casimero's supporters will be very happy on this. if this eventually come to reality, casimero should not waste such opportunity and make sure he complies all the weight requirements and all and finally face inoue inside the ring.

on this match, definitely, inoue has the upper hand having odds in favour of him. but this will be a very good chance of casimero's supporters to bet on him if the odds are high, that is, if they believe upset can happen.

checking the boxing record of these 3 potential opponents :

Luis Nery > 35-1
Murodjon Akhmadaliev > 12-1-0
John Riel Casimero > 33-4-1

so in my opinion based on the above record alone, nery or casimero has better chance of getting upset if they can make themselves fully prepared for the fight.

So Inoue's team decided to take fight outside Japan? thats some news. We know that Inoue's fight is always that happen or venue in his home town.
If ever this one pushes through then i can say that Casimero will shit into his pants and would be eating up those trashtalks and provocation that he had done.  Grin
One thing that do came up into my mind on why Inoue decided to stay up with the current weight division? He wont really be deciding to step up on another weight class?
If he's really that planning to make himself that fit out on the current one then it wont be that a bad idea, beating up every possible contender into this division.
