Point is,why would you want blockchain or specifically bitcoins to influence the mechanics  in the chemical power plant ? Understand,those are two different things ,economy and the specified model. You've put it in a very vague way.Use a better real life implication in order to make your point clear.
very good question. What are the "pains" of the plant?
difficult to answer, because many things are considered today to be "normal". And maybe after utilizing of blockchain will be not normal any more.
In general it works like this:
Data will be collected and analyzed by control system. all the logic is inside of it.
Normally there is a huge database which contains all the historical measured parameters, e.g. measured every 5 seconds. Some plants use neuronal networks to predicts some situations and partially control the operation.
Parallel to the normal control system there is a safety system which must prevent accidents by detecting dangerous situations and acting if necessary. It uses totally independent sensors and actors.

better idea is to think of car manufacturing.
a customer wants a Red convertible with cream softop, allow wheels. etc.

each department of the car manufacturing factory has a address. so the car salesmen sends a coin, split up into multiple pieces each going to different departments

TXID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
1CarShowRoomNYC12345(1.00000000) -> 1Bloodredpaintgoldtint(0.01)
1CarShowRoomNYC12345(1.00000000) -> 1chromeAlloywheels5soke(0.02)
1CarShowRoomNYC12345(1.00000000) -> 1creamsofttop(0.02)
1CarShowRoomNYC12345(1.00000000) -> 1tyres(0.02)

1CarShowRoomNYC12345(1.00000000) -> 1chassis(0.31)
1CarShowRoomNYC12345(1.00000000) -> 1engine(0.6)

the robots making the car see the transaction aimed at them and power up to start making the car parts based on the coin received to their address

now the chassis number of the car uses the transaction ID.
the manufacturer knows where to ship the car to by looking at the sender address.

when it arrives at the showroom the car salesmen knows who the owner is based on the transaction ID they put on the paperwork days earlier when the transaction was made

I like this idea, all robots runs on bitcoin and anyone can access it to order. The company cant overstock since its like as pay as you order. Just like in amusement center, It will not process/move if you don't drop a coin.  Grin

Your country may be your worst enemy
I don't see much use for BTC-based systems outside of finance. I think one country in South America is looking into putting its land registry on a blockchain, and that sounds good, but I don't see many businesses interested. The idea behind a blockchain is one of a public ledger with fast updates all over the world but who needs that? I'm using MySQL databases at work, and everything in it is confidential. So there's one central database, with very few people allowed to insert data in it. No need for a blockchain, then.

Governments could use blockchains more than companies.

@Franky1

Would this not also make it easier to track people back to their homes if everything was connected to a bitcoin address?
Might be misunderstanding but basically swapping the VIN out for a bitcoin address or at least how I am reading it.

I like the premise of the idea but think something would need to be done to protect the addy from becoming to public.
Right now the VIN is usually on the driver side dash near the bottom of the windshield and anyone could scan it.

@Melnik

This seems to be a pretty complex idea and I do not have enough knowledge to be able to brainstorm this one.
Would think maybe you could relate the process of confirmations to holding the chemicals till they are verified,in a triple confirmation each step of the way. Maybe say checking the address location to the immediate chamber and then also relaying to the final destination to double check the forumula or end product is secure. Laymans terms lol.

Dear friends,

you are welcome to participate this brainstorming, how Bitcoin or blockchain-based systems can change the real economy.
To be more specific I suggest to imagine a chemical plant. Working 24/7. There is a chemical reaction inside. High pressure and temperature. A lot of sensors are installed there which measure temperature, pressure, flow of products, level in vessels and so on. This information goes to the plant control system. There are some automatic rules in control systems which control the system or prevent accidents.
How blockchain can improve this system or maybe completely exchange the rules there?
All ideas are welcome!
