Yes trust is an issue, but fortunately, bitcoin is 'trustless'. Am looking for one or two 40ft containerised mining rigs.....that's between 300 and 650 ASICs by my research. Along with peripherals, shipping and installation.....a ballpark figure of $3 -$4m. I would imagine any investors would be well researched before venturing close to and have done rigorous due diligence.
with mutlisig wallets all miner rewards would go directly to investors, no government can stop or censor payments.
Investor risk is whether the AICs will be switched on, or if I pack them up in a truck and drive off with them.
But more seriously the location and electricity supply is on a Multinational Multi-billion dollar industrial complex, which is easily checkable, hence I don't want to give more details here otherwise I will dox myself.
Any suggestions on the optimum ASIC's and possible genuine suppliers that I can approach.
the last research I did o this was almost three years ago.

My first thought:

of course, it's one of the 17 so you might be located in a much safer country, but that's what every investor from outside Africa will think first. Doubling on mikeywith opinion, it will be pretty hard for you to get investors from people who have no link to your country, even if you're legit in this world full of scams people you're going to have a lot of work to gain trust for such an enterprise. I think you would fare well better trying to find a partner in your own country than internationally.
For the humidity problem, the fixer is the budget, you can either go for HVAC or direct immersion cooling, depending on how big that problem is and how much it will add to your costs, the last time I checked just the prices for dielectric liquids I instantly closed it.

I see two potential issues here, one is trust, with all due respect, it's unlikely for anyone to trust you enough to be a "partner" with you when you are located in a different country, which means you need to look for sponsors/partners within your area.
The second issue is t the climate. Humidity and heat are two things that asic miners hate pretty much, of course, if you throw enough money at it, it will be taken off, I mine in a very hot place during the summer, it's most certainly a lot hotter than your place, but humidity isn't all that bad, I control the heat by over-moving air in the farm and by downclocking the miners a little bit during the very hot days and it's working great so far.
However, I am no were near a 2MW capacity as that will be a completely different level, but again, with enough money, you can pretty much set it up easily.

A suggestion is:
1) tell us the country it is in.
It's on a private industrial estate with a Natural Gas Power station - in West Africa, very hot and humid, inhospitable ...at least for heat-emitting ASIC's so cooling is a major consideration. Not many of such facilities in the area so too easy dox, hence am not being more specific. Sevurity of equipment and personnel are well taken of.
