When it comes to browser experience then nothing beats out Chrome even with Brave browser then i dont see for to better than chrome.
That's base on individual's experience, personally, I prefer to use Brave now as it's faster compared to my chrome browser.
Brave uses lesser ram space but Chrome is more popular than it but as long as you're happy to use any of them, you can keep going on. But why not prefer to have both saved on your computers?  Wink

About on the token that they do gave out.Yes, that was interesting before since you can claim out of those ads that you should need to click upon.

But now it turns out that you would really need to Kyc for you to claim which i dont see for it to be worth.

It always depends on you, I'm aware that there's brave reward but it's not really what I'm after, I use the app to have a good browsing experience and that's it, I use to see my brave rewards but it's not big enough that I could enjoy though I've been using Brave browser for over a year already.
Before I thought that I can collect good amount of BAT with those ads but I've became the same as you, I'm not really into the reward anymore as long as browsing experience is good and smooth with it.

Brave used to be called as private and ad free browser since it was launched but do they actually completely 100% secure and private, I am not sure because we can see that the brave browser is tracking the users just what the chrome does but comparatively less. I am using both browser and I am not going to trust them when it comes to anonymity, just use the TOR which is the best for such purpose.

Don't be blind when using TOR browser.  For a long time it were subjected to the scheme flooding that allowed to tear off  anonymity of those  who have used it and  according to study of  "the four browsers, the scheme flooding vulnerability takes the longest to successfully run in Tor." Among browser under investigation were Chrome, Firefox, Safari and TOR.

Among other things, this is also the reason why you should use Tor in connection with a VPN* service if you really want to be anonymous. Sure, Tor alone has a strong anonymity, but it is not 100% guaranteed and especially in countries with a dictatorial government this can be your undoing.

* And no, do not use free VPN services which you can freely download as Firefox or Chrome addon. There are mostly no real VPN services but simply proxy services.

Anybody here already knows about brave browser? If
you don't know yet about this browser. Let me explain brave browser, by the way, is a fast, private and secure web browser for PC and mobile. This is also a browser with anti-malware and ads blocker. This browser can really help us especially by accessing our funds.

For more information in regards to the project, you may visit there official website.
https://brave.com

I'm using it now and yeah this gives a lot of new experience than my usual Mozilla and Google chrome .

and they are offering some small token from using ? but what i found is a need for KYC in which i find unethical at all.
When it comes to browser experience then nothing beats out Chrome even with Brave browser then i dont see for to better than chrome.
Of course Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox is the best and Brave is just a last option for me and for more internet users.

Yes there are some of my friends that claims theirs and yet just a peanut.

Our KYC is much worth big than the tokens of using the site. so indeed this is not worth a use..

Before I downloaded this browser actually, but in the end I uninstalled it, due to it ate a lot of space on my desktop.
Brave is much lighter than Google Chrome and other desktop browsers that we used to use.

Aside from that my anti virus notified me that there is a thread over my desktop and it appeared brave apps. So, even I know
it will give me profit but I don't want to risk my important files on my desktop of course.
This didn't happened to me but if there's such, it will also appear on me but until now, there's no virus found on my desktop by my anti-virus. What's your anti-virus. Did you download something with the use of Brave?

When you are using, you become more vulnerable to the fake sites but when you know what you are doing and your intention is to maintain the complete anonymity then TOR is the best way. If you are still no convinced then use the onion links which also provided by many sites where privacy concerns are there.

Brave has launch its own  privacy-oriented search engine and integrated  it into both desktop and mobile version of browser. They say that search index of their search engine is independent just like Google one  while that one for  well known DuckDuckGo  dependents on Bing's solution. Whether it is good or not to have independent search index?

im quite confused yet . cotent contributor means they are the ones you will be donating or the one that will be recieving the tips   ? they are the ones that need to create an uphold account and not you as a brave user/earner only ? and what do you mean by crypto twitter users  ? twitter account that is related to crypto that creates a crypto related content  ?  what if we are going to create our own account and then send the bat token to it  ? will that be possible to get the bat coins and sell them for our selves  ? hmm whatcha think guys

Content contributors are exactly what they sound like. People who contribute content. You as the browser are consuming content. So you donate to them, they receive the tips.

You can contribute without using the uphold account (you only need uphold to withdraw).

Crypto Twitter is just a way of naming the community of crypto using Twitter.

You're welcome;)

Just check an article. I have no idea that I can earn while I browse. That's pretty interesting. Do anyone already have earned some BAT token from this?
I will probably give it a try tonight. Have already downloaded the Brave browser.

You can earn BATs up to $10 a month. Varies from month to month and your personal browsing activity. But you need to know - in order to prevent any dissapointments - you can not withdraw those earned BATs yet. You can only donate them to websites, youtubers and twitcher at the moment. Withdrawal feature however is in development.
This is not happened yet, I have been using brave user for six month at least. But I just get $5 in one month to give them the content creator like youtuber and etc. After that I have never got again, I don't know why that was happened. Actually, I really like this concept because we can earn money and we can develop our ability to be content creator.
Afaik, not all content related sites have the support by Brave team. The best side of rewarding is to send tips for the Crypto Twitter users, it is better to withdraw the BAT instead of few retweets. Having a verified Uphold account is only way to withdraw the earnings as a content contributor.

Verified content creators can easily withdraw Brave Rewards but the operation will be more complex for unverified Uphold accounts. Crypto Twitter is the middle circle of the finance-related social media, the allusion is about the information dirtiness. Check this article for understanding the basics of tipping tweets.

For getting BAT, we need to deposit some BAT coins into the Browser, otherwise, it is impossible to make BAT coins. Of course, through referrals, it is impossible to get the reward because some people will not active, as they are getting some low reward for watching the ads.

So we have to make a deposit in advance to be able to get the BAT token in return? It's not like I used to just fix a referral friend so we can BAT tokens every month, but I have long stopped following BAT, so I don't know how it actually happened, and I think that using the BAT Browser is still like it used to get BAT tokens every month.

It's a spam post. You do not need to deposit anything to receive BAT tokens.

This thing is the most important that everyone should know because some are marketing that people earn bat when they install brave browser without mentioning those important information. However for me, I am already aware but since I am a BAT investor as well, I would always support the browser and its development and personally, no bias opinion, I am loving the brave browser.

In the meanwhile (my post you've quoted is from May 2019) there was implemented a withdrawal function. You can now withdraw your BATs to Uphold wallet. However a KYC is needed to open an Uphold account. According to the website, Brave is working for more withdrawal options which do not need any KYC.
Well, I would be okay to comply with the KYC since I trust the BAT project and I have invested on it, and I also believe that it's the trend now since the crypto is getting centralized. If they'll come up with a non KYC for Withdrawal, that's already a big bonus, and sure it would attract a lot of users, but I doubt it would happen.

I am also using the Brave browser from the last 15-20 days. And I had good experience with it in terms of speed and ad blocking features. So many individuals claiming to earn BAT tokens. But I am not much sure why I couldn't earn anything after using it so far. Let's see if I can earn anything after using it for a month or so.

So, what's the benefit of using Brave now. If I am correct there's way of earning through referral and you can withdraw the amount through uphold account once you link your uphold account with brave browser.

Have been using this platform since last few months and it's great to see my internet speed is faster than before, but I actually doubt about privacy and security. I don't know if it's safe to store my passwords or not. Also, there is no feature to withdraw your own funds (if you are not a publisher) yet and I think it's better to add that feature as users will not only able to earn BAT tokens from watching ads but also to withdraw their tokens.

Brave uses Chromium engine that is the same software Google Chrome uses. The source code of Brave is completely open source, so if there would be any serious security and privacy issues  then they would have already been detected. Further, the withdraw feature is on the roadmap .

Yep. Just downloaded it and it works fine though I'm still comfortable in using Google chrome and Mozilla and besides I don't experience too much ads since I modify my browser setting so it doesn't matter.

I have received my Bat token from monthly airdrop and I would like to know how to withdraw from your account? Will it automatically transfer to your uphold account?
I guess that has nothing to do with the brave browser as also what someone here mentioned.

I don't think there's anyone here on Bitcointalk who hasn't heard about Brave.
Though I was actually quite surprised that some of my friends were using it as their main browser, they're not even really into cryptocurrency or anything.

Personally, I just use Firefox and have been using it for +10 years.

Reward system is only up and running in beta version [1] at the moment, not yet in stable version [2]. I have used beta for a month now and it is very stable, though.

I already downloaded this web browser and I'm using it right now because of the features it offers.

I have received my Bat token from monthly airdrop and I would like to know how to withdraw from your account? Will it automatically transfer to your uphold account?

I heard so must this brave browser, do it happen to have some referral program? Looks like many are endorsing it along with their referral links so it's all over the internet.

May be to download this browser you need to spare data around 130MB from your mobile or computer. They are available in all the platforms.
Seriously 130mb for a browser? Perhaps it's too big as browser app usually consume just less than a 100mb.
You can earn while using Brave browser and the same probably in the refferal system too. If your referral use the brave browser for 1 month, you will receive incentives.
I don't know how much the size it but it seems not more than 100mb.
Mind sharing articles about this? I'm taking my interest to this.

Furthermore, I found this on the playstore, is this the one we're talking?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brave.browser

It's just 30mb capacity so I guess we can reconsider this.

Yeah, ive been using it and installed on my PC.I cant deny that this is really faster when it comes to loading times compared to traditional Google Chrome and Firefox browsers but still
I do end up with those old web-browsers i got used too but since its being installed i do consider on using it when im not multi browser session.

Now i am trying the brave browser which seems to be very interesting but whether how long it is going to take for them to send the payment in terms of BAT, which seems to be very interesting but whether the speed of the browser is very good which i am also browsing multiple website and seems to be very fast.

Already tried it because Coinbase promo  Grin. But unfortunately i already have my favourite browser even it is not related to crypto. And i think i already fit with it. But for me, crypto with something that people can easily use like BAT with brave browser is a good pair.

I mean it's just chromium with an ad blocker, just use firefox with extensions it's much better

No, it's not. Brave Browser uses a unique approach for blocking ads.

Quoted from https://www.computerworld.com/article/3292619/the-brave-browser-basics-what-it-does-how-it-differs-from-rivals.html

By eliminating ads and ad trackers, Brave downloads much less content from a website than any browser sans an ad blocking extension. ... By eliminating ad trackers, Brave blocks efforts by advertisers to first identify users, then follow those users. That makes Brave users more anonymous...

Futhermore, Brave is shipped with Tor. All is included in the browser without any extra extension.
Is that mean if brave already used or merged with Tor network?

Yes, but I must add that the feature is currently included only in beta version, not in the stable version. So, it is still tested, but I have used it a couple of times and it seems to work like the Tor based Firefox browser.

Here are two videos which cover the topic:

I heard about this browser to when some made a post on the thread about a browser mining project but seeing the actual bravo browser I am convince that there is no similarities between the 2 project.

I like bravo browser due to its speed that can help with downloads and streaming, it shall be more beneficial when BAT earning opportunity is implemented.

bavo browser ?  i dont heard of that before but i think i agree on you that bravo and brave browser are both different because brave browser have some kind of a reward and a built in ad block feature while bravo browser is only a normal browser but its faster ( like what you said )   but you can still use both browser to be able to earn some bat and to experience a good browsing experience  at the same time  .
I didn't never hear if there was a similar browser of brave browser. it looks like you are only mistyping the name of brave browser because if you tried to search that on internet and the name will always be related with brave browser. Pleas you should not mind people above you because he is the same like you and he was mistyping the name of brave into the bravo browser and that kind of browser never exist.

If you are talking BAT token as incentive, it's not bravo browser, it's the one mentioned by OP brave browser. I think you have misunderstood by some how.

I've heard about this browser but I'm still doubting of using it. But after all the reviews that I've heard and positive feedback with it, I'm starting to learn and encourage myself of trying it but first with mobile.

Is this the brave browser made by Basic Attention Token?

Yes they are belongs to that team only and the brave browser is really good to use for browsing and it is really secured browser to use after Chrome and Opera. You really do not need to worry about performance or usage things.

May be to download this browser you need to spare data around 130MB from your mobile or computer. They are available in all the platforms.
Now, I'm encouraged to try this browser, I'm eyeing for this as soon as the people are suggesting this on social media.

But what wait, 130 MB of total file size for this browser? that's a lot of storage but I guess the usage of memory for brave browser isn't consuming that much unlike Google Chrome, correct?

I'm using chrome right now but reading positive reviews about that browser makes me feel interested in it. If it's faster than my browser then I would prefer to use it. I will read more reviews before I download it. Using a faster browser would be an advantage for our everyday activity and online transactions.
Hmm, if it will be quicker than chrome it will be wonderful. I will be able to use it on my VPS with rdd.
P.S How about sync with Android/PC/mac ? And does they have an ANN thread?

i use this browser for myactivity everyday, i think this browser is fast and not consume many RAM capacity, beside that we can participate in BAT Rewards soon and earn bat token for seeing ads in this browser, i'm actually like this browser and using as second browser after firefox
Until now I am still using google chrome, I like to hear more good feedback on this browse before I will try this.
I know it's the product of BAT token or project, and as a support for crypto, I think we should try this, but like I said, I like to hear more positive feedback.
I'm more concern on the security aspects here, I've no problem using google chrome so BAT browser should be better for a user like me will transfer.

I tried Brave already, it seems okay. It does load quite fast on somethings but I haven't actually used it the way I use Chrome. I have Firefox and Chrome, and both using about 5 to 10 extensions. For Firefox the extensions slow it down, for Chrome, not really, but I need to have the ability to use a browser that has my MetaMask, has my bookmarks, the news feeds, everything. If Brave has the same set of extensions, then I would maybe be convinced.

you don't know yet about this browser. Let me explain brave browser, by the way, is a fast, private and secure web browser for PC and mobile. This is also a browser with anti-malware and ads blocker. This browser can really help us especially by accessing our funds.

But not the best browser in my opinion, have lags while loading pages and many pages take time to adopt to this browser so just go woth chrome for better browsing experience.

I have read couple of articles about this and I liked their strategy. There's way to monetize website and also way to earn BAT while surfing. Anyway, I think it's not something which will be mass adopted. People are more likely to use TOR for safety.
