Hello Brazilian People!

As in object, i am planning to stay some months (maybe years) in Brazil! Really crazy for that!

Anyway, i want to get a Brazilian Debit Card, like these:

www.xapo.com
www.coinsbank.com

Unluckly those cards don't support R$. I would like to have a card who allow me to use it (withdrawl or just POS spending) in R$ and Euro.

The issuer must be brazilian

Any help?

Thanks!

Not sure if a bit too late, but 2 major brazilian exchanges are announcing their own pre-paid credit/debit cards for next year: Bitcointoyou and foxbit. They were both announced during the last Bitconf (brazilian bitcoin conference). I couldn't find anything on their sites, so i assume it is not yet a released product for any pf them, but you might want to wait a bit and check it out.

Legal se a Foxbit lançar uma cartão de débito. Vou procurar essa informação também. Será bem interessante. Grin

Hello, here in Brazil people usually use xapo and advcash cards with dollar balance, what happens is that when they are used here in Brazil the company (xapo/advcash) converts from R$ to U$ and debits your dollar balance.

Welcome to Brazil!

Olá, aqui no Brasil as pessoas costumam utilizar cartões xapo e advcash com saldo em dólar, o que acontece é que quando eles são utilizados aqui no Brasil a empresa converte de R$ para U$ e faz o débito do seu saldo em dólar.

Hey Loga, thank you.

So, Are you allowed to withdrawl in R$ paying 3% fee conversion from USD?

PS
3% should be Xapo fee to withdrawl in a different currency. If you have a balance in USD and you withdrawl in real, that's the fee you should pay

I'm pretty sure that yes, I don't use it, but from what I see from the staff speaking this is how it works. Ask Xapo's support to be sure but I think that's the way it is.
