It seems my previous post here didn't survive the forum meltdown, so here goes something like it again. Tongue

As the above had mentioned, Area 51 is just a military installment, possibly a bomb testing site.

Most of the "truths" about Area 51 are hoaxes.

It's just a military base.

That's what they want you to believe.

Actually, there being some conspiracy going on in there, might be what they really want you to believe - and not just there, but more often than not. This isn't to say conspiracies are always false; of course some do turn out to be true.

But, I sort of believe in a slightly different conspiracy theory - a conspiracyception, if you will: these and similar stories are often pushed, and perhaps even purposefully fabricated, to keep the population distracted. I mean, can you imagine how much "worse" it would be if people spent the same time and effort they spend on all conspiracy theories, for something like social and political activism and reforms?

You’re not far away from the truth. And you know what to do. area-51.cc.

It's just a military base.
That should definitely not be used in relation to Area 51.
I'm pretty sure that within the base you will find a quite amount of things that aren't deemed ready for the general population.

Why didn't they just build a gate there? If I was a tourist in that area, I'd probably miss those signs.

Nothing happens at Area 51. All secret labs and crafts like the one recovered in Roswell crash are being hidden in underground facilities, nearest one to area 51 is S4 located at Papoose Lake southwest of Groom Dry Lake.

This might be meaningless to those outside of American but when you consider what goes on or is alleged to go on there and what the penalties are for stepping over the line, I think it's pretty intriguing actually. It's a 12 min clip of some dudes on a spring break of sorts to Vegas when they decide to get up close and personal. They happen upon some elder ladies that are lost but were looking for the gate.. You'll have to watch to see what happens next and then offer some thoughts as to what you think happened if anything. I've watched quite a few times in the past, definitely a good short watch especially if you have any sort of knowledge on the place.

this brought lots of information with it. Those ladies seemed to know exactly where they wanted to go. Imagine if they were government employees just wanting to have a friendly chat before they went into Area 51 as perhaps they had never been there before. Pretty crazy. But they were probably just there to take pictures. They were probably never seen again lol.
And that's what I'm interested in knowing. Did these fine ladies ever collect another social security check or pay any other bill of sorts? Where are their family members and did they see them again? What's up? Never a thing that has came up. Still waiting on family members...

I understand that the government has a form of "keeping things from the American public", but if there is no trust in the government, is there any trust amongst anyone else?

And even if it is a secret alien testing base, if the evidence was found out, there would be paperwork for government up their *ahem* holes.

I have a theory that Alantis was an anti-diluvian high-tech civilization with circular flying machines and that the guys at Area 51 study this ancient technology and license it to Apple. I believe the Moon has well-preserved anti-diluvian technology that ends up in your iPhone.

Typical security, nothing special. It's a military instalation, so it's normal they had somebody watching the main entrance. I used to sneak into a military training site when I was a kid and look for shells and bullets, even got caught once but they let me off with a warning Cheesy

Sometimes things go a little worst as those britons knows; but, if you are not doing stupid things you would be well.

Well of course there is security. This is where government manufactures the saucers that we call UFOs. This is the area that directs our installation on the backside of the moon.

That was unexpected - I imagined they would be the ones breaching Area 51, not the grannies. Cheesy

Anyway, I doubt much goes on there, other than perhaps research and development of new aircraft - and maybe not even that anymore. And to be honest, I was a bit surprised at the level of security; I imagine the main gate is still quite far from the actual base, but still, by the end of the video they still hadn't caught up with the intruders?

EDIT: this story reminds me of the one about the nun and two priests, all of which between 60 and 82 years of age, who were jailed for breaking into a naval base: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1371301/Jail-elderly-priests-nun-breaking-navy-base-protest-nuclear-weapons.html. Old people are dangerous. Wink

Indeed, the elderly can be dangerous. Anyone remember that one South Park episode where their driving licenses were confiscated? Not pretty.

I guess Area 51 is so famous that even if there were some Alien artifacts there military moved it to some other place. All of US military bases have heavy security - Area 51 is no exception here. I guess if government does not want us to know what is inside that base - we will never know.

Not dangerous? Don't they have live firing exercises?
