Don't read if you haven't finished the series

Would you like to see a new season of Breaking Bad?

I was thinking of creating a petition on change.org for AMC to start a new season, I don't like the way the finale ended, I put my soul into the show and the finale...

damn, I couldn't sleep for days after the last episode, why u do dis AMC??

just film a new season and make Walter survive the shot and put him in a hospital so we can see his escape and progress to a meth manufacturer once again Smiley
also the way he lost his family altough he did everything of that for them sucks..

It's still the best show I ever watched!
But I want a new season where we get to see Walter succeed Cheesy

If you couldn't sleep for days after the ending i would say that qualifies for a good ending. Why ruin someting flawless? I thought the ending was perfect, and they did a good job on ending it before it got stale, no need to revive Walter and milk the show

they have created quite a few people addicted to the series, why not milk them? Cheesy

Have you seen Dexter?

It went on for 7-8 seasons... I had to force myself to finish it because it was so good in the beginning.

First 4 seasons - 10/10 show

Seasons 5-7 just went downhill... the finale was shit and pissed me off so much. I went from being in my top 3 shows of all time to bottom 3

Some producers milk a series for the money, others would rather leave behind a classic. Breaking Bad is going to be a class

Very much agreed. No need to go back. And they won't... Besides, there's a spinoff coming up!

I've never gotten around to actually watch Breaking Bad, perhaps
cause it's ridiculously mainstream and has gotten soooo much praise.
What does the bitcoiners think, would you recommend the series?
I'm running out of ideas myself.

Definitely worth watching. All those positive reviews can't be wrong - check out a few episodes.
I might just do that then! Smiley
Course all the reviews make a excellent case
for why you should watch it, but taste is
personal after all.
But I suppose it's impossible to judge before seeing for myself, haha.

Do you happen to know when that new show Better Call Saul is going to air?

it's supposed to start in November 2014  Undecided

All great shows must come to an end. And honestly, Breaking Bad could not have ended any other way. He deserved to die, but at least he died on his terms and he came clean with his family. If he got to a live a good life at the end of all of this, it would make the entire show pointless.

he came clean but his family rejected him, his own son attacked him  Undecided
afterall he did everything he did for his family  Undecided

I passed over Breaking Bad a while ago thinking it was one of those mainstream shows that everyone liked just because everyone else liked it. Boy was I wrong. When I got into it, I REALLY got into it. I'd get into a ritual of watching Breaking Bad every day after work. I really looked forward to seeing it and now that it's ended I'm kinda sad. Owell, there's that Better Call Saul spinoff to look forward to!

I liked it a lot (except half season 3, the episode when WW chased a fly for 45 minutes made me quit watching -,,-). But it got better, the end could have been cooler tho - there were a lot of flaws in his plan.

That's one of the best episodes in the show, it's brilliant!

Breakingbad is so bad I hated every single second of it and I did try and give it a chance until the third episode and it was so boring.

That's a shame, did you switch off during the third episode, or after finishing it?

Bitcoin already existed when the first season was filmed, so I don't think that has anything to do with bitcoins not being in the show.

not actually, first season was filmed in 2008 and Bitcoin was founded in 2009 Wink

but bitcoin became mainstream just recently which means if they would make just one more season it might include bitcoins Cheesy
but damn, the ending was too damn perfect to prolong the series xD

If Bitcoin was as well known as it is today then it could have made its way into a scene with Saul. It may even come up in Better Call Saul.

Well, I think Game of Thrones is one of the best shows ever, maybe it's not your thing...

How about House of Cards? The Wire?

Well, heard a lot of good thing about The Wire, I could start watching it Smiley

I like Game of Thrones, it's a good show but I never experienced even before or after something good as BB, I think I'll never experience something like that again Cheesy

thanks for the suggestion though Smiley

did anyone notice that if WW converted his money into bitcoins none of this bad stuff would happen? Cheesy

Yes, or if the story happened in Canada or somewhere in Europe it would be no story. Smiley

I thought so too but I can't find anything as nearly as interesting as BB..

I tried watching Game of Thrones and Walking Dead, it is interesting but it's not BB..

when I watched BB I had an urge to start a new episode every time I finished the previous one,
it was like an addiction and I fcking loved it Cheesy

I never felt something like that with any other show  Undecided

Breaking Bad is a great show - lots of quotable material and laughter moments too. The finale was really well shot.

I recommend that you edit the post to warn of spoilers though, as somebody who has yet to see the show or finale could unwittingly read how it finishes.

Although I do like Breaking Bad I can't see sense in a new season. Is has finished , it's better not to continue it as the is possibility it would come worse if it would be longer. The quality is more important than quantity.

No, a new season won't add anything except worsening one of the best series after.
The story has ended, everything has been worked out by Vince Gilligan.

NO!

it would be a hell of a show when we see Walter fleeing to Mexico and creating a new empire right there where he would start his business and store his money in Bitcoins instead of cash Cheesy
