Explaining to people what Bitcoin is not is of utmost importance – especially in an environment which tends to antagonize and nihilistically question the significance and utility of such an invention.

The conditions and state of the present ongoing situation where we are should first be addressed and the kind of people's mentality towards such environment needed to be analyzed first before knowing the approach to take and use to educate bitcoin to the people, almost everyone already knows about bitcoin of have an idea on what it is, but there's more need to make people understand the role and importance of this decentralized digital currency, how they can obtain the required understanding of bitcoin and places were necessarily needed to be applicable after we have analyzed the target category of those we are dealing with.

One of the first pages in the magazine mentions that they used AI

Yeah, all published  material  looks like AI generated stuff. Magazine is more for blonds then for serious readers, it holds a lot of nicely designed  illustrations that deflect attention from the facts related to FUD  relevant to bitcoin. I have spent approximately 15 minutes turning  the pages of this magazine and reading them but after that understood that there is no sense for me  to download pdf, no value for me, sorry.

One of the first pages in the magazine mentions that they used AI but I believe there is also digitally scanned physical art in there. I do agree that it looks very nice and it feels like a lot of effort went into creating this magazine.
Oh ok thanks for verification dear, actually i didn't read the whole magazine line by line, i just over viewed it by giving a glance on all the pages. And i also shared my thoughts that it would be nice to read it in hands not on screens. Because then it will give us the full feelings of reading a magazine but thanks again for verifying it.

I flipped through a few pages of the magazine and it was a good read. The only downside was it was difficult to make out the words on a computer and I can assume that it will be even more difficult to do that on a mobile device. My suggestion is to make it appear more like an article and not the magazine look it has now.

I had no problems on desktop. You just have to expand it to fullscreen view. There is also a PDF available which you could download and read it on your preferred e-reader on your tablet.

Which is this is a magazine which has beautiful and eye catching images used in it. And i doubt these images are AI created.

I'll take a look later if I remember, good effort -- I just would stop short at calling these myths FUD, only if to lend more credibility to the debunking efforts. Many of the arguments made against Bitcoin does come from a neutral place, and I don't think it is the objective of some academics to spread fear, uncertainty, doubt.

Would like to dig into the data behind energy use -- I last read pretty solid data from some presentation but have lost my bookmark. In particular, how energy use is actually predicted to plateau, while providing the same level of security in the next 2 decades.

what makes you so unique because I'm sure that there are millions of articles already doing this maybe even more.
You are greatly overestimating if you think that there are millions of articles out there which paint bitcoin in a good light and debunk the propaganda around it. The number becomes much smaller when you check how many of them actually give reliable information.
We should encourage as many writers as possible to talk about bitcoin from an honest point of view cause we have very little of those around.

Well, it's been a decade for bitcoin already, I think that it's enough time for people to talk about bitcoin in positive light not to mention that I am talking about overall when it comes to bitcoin, people like you are only concerned about the market price of bitcoin, that's why you're bombarded by FUD, I was under the impression that the technical aspect of bitcoin is included in my statement but no, you proved me wrong.

Bitcoin Bottom was at $15.4k
Maybe I am living under a rock as I have never heard of this magazine despite being active on this forum and Crypto twitter. It's great when resources are available in local language or regional language. I would recommend every magazine to be published in their local translation too.

How do you exactly do that though? I mean a magazine that's sold publicly can't exactly target a specific demographic if it's sold to everyone right? Pretty cool though that you're more on breaking the stereotypes by presenting facts and not just going on tirades to defend bitcoin but a lot has done that before, what makes you so unique because I'm sure that there are millions of articles already doing this maybe even more.
I think there is no restriction on selling a magazine in targeted audience. They can do that, everyone could do that. Instead they are just trying to help more local citizens to get benefit from this magazine and also they will get more audience too. Which is best deal for both.

And i really agreed with your point that this magazine contains nothing unique instead it consists of the most common info that i think many already knew about it. Which, indicates they are just trying to target newbies. But, let me tell you when you go through each page one by one. You will get the answer of your query. Which is this is a magazine which has beautiful and eye catching images used in it. And i doubt these images are AI created.

I really loved the magazine even i haven't read it completely because its hard to read it on PC even. So, i think it would be a good read if it's in hands (physical).

Sometimes showing the facts as they are is a reason to avoid people using technology. If you tell people that your phones can spy on you, that companies sell your data, etc., no one will buy those products, but lying is the worst thing that can happen.
Those who defend Bitcoin lie in not explaining the risks and that it is a safe investment that will make you rich, which is absolutely inaccurate and a lie.
Defending and promoting Bitcoin this way is telling story which is too good to be true and it will be harder to convince listeners.

Everything has pros and cons and when you are talking about it, you must include pros and cons to keep your 'lecture', talk is neutral and frank enough. If we only say about advantages, good things of Bitcoin, listeners will think we are lying. Talking like this will cause more side effects that we don't want when we are trying to convince listeners.

OP, you are doing a great Job, and I applaud you for such stress, financing, and effort for the betterment of Bitcoin.
I believe you will also get the document translated to other languages soon so it can spread widely among some non-English-speaking Bitcoiners.

BTCTKVR 3: Breaking FUD, the open source magazine which aims to debunk the most common misconceptions about Bitcoin in a way that should generate more grassroots adoption and proper understanding, is now also available in German!
Thanks to the remarkable translation effort of Ray Rizzling, the 100 million+ German speakers around the world can now understand why Bitcoin is useful, it doesn't boil the oceans, and it's here to stay.

Why is the Breaking FUD magazine a big deal? Because it takes the exact opposite approach: instead of telling people what is Bitcoin, it start from the assumption that the media already told them. Instead of pursuing a potentially divisive ideological approach, it presents some facts about government regulation, altcoins, scaling, security, price volatility, use cases, energy consumption, mining centralization, education, and mainstream acceptance. And instead of trying to target a specific demographic which is more likely to read the work and support the mission of the Bitcoin project, the Breaking FUD magazine takes the riskier path of using facts in an attempt to appeal to everyone.

Explaining to people what Bitcoin is not is of utmost importance – especially in an environment which tends to antagonize and nihilistically question the significance and utility of such an invention. Bitcoin has been around for 14 years, billions of people are already aware of its existence, but what they know is only what their media and politicians misinformed them. Using these subjects of “FUD” as a starting point for the conversation is important, as it invites people to use the information that they know and have it challenged by facts of which they were not aware.
