Good.

At last, this is getting real. We shall see a solution to the Greek problem which has been damaging around Europe for more than a decade.
The Greeks cannot more money out of their country, and other Europeans cannot send them money. We'll see how they behave now that they're all by themselves.

You seem to have a vile hatred towards the Greeks but you don't realise that this is not just a Greek problem and this western lifestyle that was brainwashed into the minds of the modern Greeks since world war 2 to live beyond their means and live on credit and be part of the fractional reserve banking system is not just a GREEK ONE..

Yes I agree, the Greeks bought into this matrix lie, Yes I agree Greece had a bunch of nasty and greedy corrupt politicians who colluded with the Elite to milk the country dry but that is not the only problem..The problem is that now the Greeks have lost almost everything I don't know if they have the spiritual will to get up and fight for themselves to create real and lasting change in their country..We will find out next week if they have the guts..but don't blame the Greeks only that it is their problem.. believe me there is more than one side to this story. Anyone that tries to fight the status quo gets hammered down, I even saw it here in the crypto community as well..and I experienced it first hand. If Greeks can reshape their destiny and become pioneers again then all well and good but yes if they become peripheral slaves to a nasty banking and corrupt economic system then they are deserving of their fate..and I will be very sad and sorry to see my Brethren across the seas give into lies and FUD and Fear imposed on them by the mighty banking Elites. I didn't mean that in a bad way but I see this is the greatest opportunity for the Greeks to arise to their true intelligence and courage..if they do, there will be wonderful rewards for them in the near future.. I know from my own experience as I have also been through ground zero and homelessness and destitution and I know that with real will if I could get out of that mess when I did a few years ago, so can Greece..

Every welfare state in europe have the same problem. The greeks just happenend to go out of money first.

A bank holiday involves closing banks thereby limiting the ability for funds to be withdrawn. It is typically implemented to avoid a bank run. If the bank holiday could be avoided, it is only possible if Capital controls are exercised as an alternative. Removing them could be a little consuming then, though.

I believe you quoted the wrong person  Smiley

Referendum results will be a big surprise for a lot of idiots in Europe that have the impresion that with threats and fear they will sway the Greeks to vote yes.

its 60 euro per day withdrawal limit whether it be from an atm or a bank teller your per day limit is 60 euro

If thats the limit, why is the bitcoin world banking on the fact that Greece would convert all their money into bitcoin ?

there isn't such thing as the bitcoin world bankink, what you're talking about? and greece will not convert everything to a decentralized currency, they will return o their own fiat

the point in thinking that the price may rise because of the grexit, it is because we think that many greece's citizens will buy bitcoin, at least before they will establish a new economy, hoping to cover their ass if the price skyrocket

but they are actually the one who will contribute the most to the skyrocket of bitcoin, if this will happen

I just got this message when I logged in to my bank account:

Does this mean that you can only transfer €60 to another Greek bank account as well, or is the €60 referring only to cash withdrawals?

The article says that Greece will probably have to "announce a bank holiday on Monday, pending the introduction of capital controls". It is not certain yet. And most of the Greeks have withdrawn their savings from the banks during the past few months, and there is hardly any money remaining in the savings accounts.

The European Central Bank has decided to keep giving Greek banks money for a bit longer, which will probably temporarily stop them going bankrupt. The money should make it possible for the Greek banks to open on Monday, although it's not guaranteed they will open.

ATHENS — As Greece’s financial crisis enters uncharted territory, the European Central Bank agreed on Sunday to continue providing life support to the country’s feeble banking system.

.....

Analysts say that without the emergency funds, Greek banks would not have sufficient money to provide to panicky savers — if the banks open on Monday, which is not yet certain. Without a continued flow of money to consumers and businesses, Greece’s struggling economy would probably lapse deeper into recession.

This article said

1 freeze at the current level - which means no more money and
2 keep an opening to change their mind.

this means probably closed banks tomorrow.

Where's your source for this or did you just make it up? BTC may or may not benefit from capital controls being introduced in Greece, one thing is for certain though, lots of Greek people will be fucked if capital controls do come in to play.

How many people will have fixed rate fixed term bonds with no early withdrawals, how many businesses in Greece will use their banks & have large amounts saved/stored there.

It's not as simple as going in & withdrawing a small amount (average person). Some people (not all) in Greece are going to get fucked in the ass over this.
If I was Greek I would have took out whatever I was allowed to in cash & gone all in on BTC with the rest.
