In case you don't know there is ETH Exchange Traded Found being evaluated by SEC.
Some say it has better chances of approval than Bitcoin ETF had, mainly because ETH is more centralized.
Any new and official fork need to be approved and supported by the Ethereum foundation so ETH can be easily upgraded.

ETH ETF was the reason price of ETH spiked to $100

If ETF fail this will be the reason ETH price will drop back to $70 or even less.

I think eth will increase its price more than $100. That is why i do some investment on this coin and i see the fast good progress of this coin.
And i see even the value of bitcoin are increasing, eth value also increasing because normally if bitcoin are increasing most of the altcoin value are decreasing that is why eth has a potential to make good coin in the future.

Except it isn't. Bitcoin is the biggest crypto with serious business support, already accepted by nations like Japan. What altoins can offer?
Ethereum was founded by ICO, is centrally controlled by Vitalik and his business pals, here goes your initial distribution and sovereignty.
I don't even want to start with other alts...e.g. Dash crazy instamine (advertised later as a feature!) or Litecoin which should be ASIC resistant and isn't...

Wow. I'm not into ETH, but that's truly amazing to me. There were all those threads saying it was going to the moon, but I wrote them all off as delusional morons. Which probably a lot of them are anyway, but for different reasons.

This altcoin market has gotten to be breathtakingly irrational. Where is all this money coming from to support these crazy prices? Has Wall Street started to get in on this stuff?

Wow this is an awesome news for the investors into ETH, in the last 9 months or so when I heard about ETH its was hovering around $11- $13 dollar which was constant for a long time and people begin to cast doubt about the potency of the project like developers just created then went to sleep despite the potentials embedded in the project but with recent happenings, I must say ETH is getting back to its rightful place in the crypto community...

I disagree. When I bought eth I thought of it as a long-term investment. I did promise myself to withdraw some money when eth reaches $100 but I still believe it will cost hundreds. So, as for me, it isn't really a pump we're dealing with. This is the true eth price and, if everything goes okay with the switch to PoS, the true price will even grow.

As some say it is like this and other say vice versa about the relations between btc and alts' prices I believe there is no strict relation at all and btc and eth growing in price 'together' is merely a coincidence.

Wouldn't say that it's gonig to be $1,000 by the end of 2018.

I mean it's possible but it's not probable.

You're definitely not going to see any coin go from $3 in the beginning to $1,000 after a few years. No coins I'm aware of that did that except for bitcoin and the reason was bitcoin was relatively unknown in the days, but Ethereum had a crowdfund that went really successfully.

But good for the Ethereum holders I guess, maybe I'm just a bit jealous Tongue
