Brexit took too much attention by the media and until now i don't see that it has that important impact even a little bit in the bitcoin price

We all are predicting the money traders are getting from shorting GBP will come into bitcoin ultimately pumping price but most of those shorted USD seems going into gold and increasing gold price significantly. May be on comming week, we may see pump in bitcoin price also just like gold. Wink

there is no indication that the $90-$100 surge in the price was due to the brexit. it's just the well known volatile market action as we are very close to the block halving. whaleplay.

True, this rise could all be due to volatility and the incoming block halving. IMO the Brexit would not be significant with the price movement, unless people start panic buying assets such as BTCBTCBTC due to their weakening currency.

I see its already effecting bitcoin its up 88 dollars , wait till Monday when the stock markets crash

I think that the british exit from European Union was a positive thing for bitcoin, you can see the chart how went from red to green and it has been increased now up to $680. The british pound will decrease its value so it will or is affecting also other currencies but not bitcoin, until now i think it increased the price for a hundred dollar.

In the long run it depends on whether the brexit starts other events that crash the price of stocks, shares, and currencies. There are fears it might herald the break up of the EU, and doomsday predictions it could be the precursor to a worldwide recession. If half of that happens, banks will go bankrupt, and bitcoin will moon.

Thank satoshi
This should be good for bitcoin.  Brexit conclusion was just a day ago and the price have risen by $100~ since then.  Could be just a recover from the last price dump but I'm thinking that the brexit news is pushing it up too.

i believe that this exit is going to have a positive impact on the price as we have already seen a rise in the past day in the price but i don't think this rise is going to be the moon rise because not everybody will invest in bitcoin when there are a lot of other things to invest in which are more popular.

Bitcoin amateur learning by doing
Somehow, the BTC price jumped from 500(E) to 550(E) on thursday, while brexit results were not known, and people were thinking Remain would win.
still, I am happy BTC did correct the price from 700E down to 600E now, it was too highly inflated. I consider 500E buying price, if I would have cash.

We are comfortably sitting at 680 dollars right now, so considering the bottom was 540 dollars, we are now 140 dollars up and climbing. This has proven in front of the world that Bitcoin is the unbeatable hedge against economic collapse. Time to go all in.
