I would not trust my phone-like device to hold my money. Never, ever, ever.

My biggest issue with an iOS Bitcoin anything is that I have absolutely no idea what's going in behind the fancy GUI. It could be tracking me via GPS, plot to steal my precious Bitcoins/megahertz, or just be a tame Bitcoin application that does exactly what it says on the tin.

So, to answer your question, yes: I would like such an application. Not because I would use it - lacking an iDevice and the need - but because it's just that much more infrastructure.

What about a web based application? Considering you will most likely have to be connected to the internet to do this in the first place.

I really like the idea of being able to transfer bitcoins with one's phone. You make a deal with someone pull out your phone and send the merchant their money and are on your way. Or your buddy needs a few bucks you simply touch your phones together and send it over like that new song you downloaded. I could see smart phones and simular devices taking over for wallets full of credit cards and cash soon.

I think what everyone really wants is to be able to access their wallets from their Iphones, but apple seems to have a problem with this. Wouldn't it be great to do transactions with someone in person with our phones? That would be the dream.
