So if I stopped by every office depot in town and pointed all there pc's to mine for my account that is not a good idea? Might actually be worth the trouble if they had decent pc's.

It’s for computers which I’m just using for a while, like for work. I can’t install anything but I’d still like to run a miner.

I'd just like to point out that if those are your employer's machines, you can get into a shitload of trouble running a miner on them.
Only run miners on machines that you own or have explicit permission to use for mining purposes.

afaik, it only creates a desktop shortcut, its easy enough to delete that. And it will end up in java cache, but any web based solution would end up being cached, I dont see much different between a javascript or java app in that regard.

Thanks I'm all ready using it at home Smiley I guess it will work, but it still installs it self on the computer. I would want something that doesn't make changes.

If you can run java webstart, then try bitminter, see my signature. Its very fast too (*), pretty much on par with cgminer.

* for opencl videocards, its dog slow for cpus.

Any one know of a good browser based miner?? I’m currently using bitcoinplus.com but I’d like one I can point at and pool.
I know it’s slow, but I get a couple of MH/s out of it..

What's wrong with installing a software ?  If the payout is good I'd keep mining there.

try guiminer , cgminer is better but no UI.
