BTCHi,
I know there are quite a few posts about this topic on the forum, but they mainly seem to be about bitcoinplus com. And not only are the fees extremely high, but also does it only work if Java is enabled. What I am interested in is a browser based Bitcoin miner not needing Java and using the computers CPU.
I found thishttp://qz.com/154877/by-reading-this-page-you-are-mining-bitcoins/ and it's kind of exactly what I'm looking for, but the code doesn't seem to be public...
Has anyone know anything similar?

Like others said it will use more electricity then money it makes.

Would be interesting if they release the code.   But I doubt they do.   I imagine would be a new kinda faucet could be made from it.  But again cost more than you make.

There is zero point browser mining, both CPU and GPU mining days are long gone. You're just burning electricity.
There was a group of students who created something, but it is not worth for bitcoins like dogie said.
However it could possibily be used to mine altcoins.
