Are you sure? This looks extremely unlikely to happen. AFAIK the option only shows in the Ethereum app.

Open the ETH app -> press the right button to select "Settings" -> both buttons to open it -> press the right button to select "Browser Support" -> both buttons to open it -> right button to select "Yes" -> press both buttons to select it.

I have already informed Ledger support that I don't have that command in my device.

I have used the device without other problems.

My firmware is 1.4.2 mcu 1.5

Is this OK?  What can I do about connecting to Myetherwallet?

No browser support options?

Have you checked it by following the steps in this link: https://support.ledgerwallet.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005198565-Switch-browser-support ?

You can only connect to MEW if browser support is enabled.
