There's nothing wrong in it if they know how to convert it to fiat, money is money.

In a faster way, you can sell coin and donate to them instead of supporting them with coin. will be inconvenient.

Something is not right. You donate electronic money to the church, you have the idea that they know how to use it.

That's actually amazing to hear that happened. Mass adoption at its finest, i.e. through religion. Nice.

Even if the church accepted bitcoin, it will not introduce it to its churches. This need too much work to get it profit from it, in my opinion people prefer stay in real money and give this symbolic coin for church than pay in crypto

Actually Church as a non-profit organization has to accept any kind of currency. But technically it is quite hard to make acception of any crypto coin now, who will convert it ? from which stockexchange ? so many questions...
It will be easy for them if one of the church authority is aware of cryptocurrency and bitcoin itself. That can be an in-kind crypto donation which they can convert to cash for their needs easily. No need to ask who will convert it if someone already know how to.

Bitcoin doesn't need a stock exchange, there are many local exchange or trade through LBC which can be done again by their representative. If the donator can do it, he can just convert it first to cash and send the money to their bank account if ever they had.

During a lunching in church, while people are donating cash, cheque, pos and transfer i over heard somebody asking that if the church will accept bitcoin, and they agreed, so what do you think?
They can accept but this would be still prone to corruption if the church organization would able to find out on the possible usage of funds into the other side and this is the negative side but still even on traditional donations theres still no assurance if those would be used up on the right path. Having these donation payment option wont really be a bad idea but this would still takes time for it to be considered.
