I would try recreating the wallet again, also I'm not sure you should click new account because that would change your old wallet. Try recreating the wallet again, if that doesn't work well, I hope you made a backup so you can import it back into.

I just re-installed electrum and restored my old wallet from it's seed. It all went well... except it appears that I have no bitcoin addresses. While it used to have something like 5-6 BTC addresses listed under the "history" tab, now there's nothing. Just a blank screen. How do I find out what my BTC addresses are? This program is kind of useless without them...

I went to Wallet --> New Account. Entered an account name and hit OK, but nothing happened.
