at the end of the day it will touch the $200 IMO.
Actually touched $216 on Bitstamp just a little while ago. Looks like we are definitely heading for the sub-$200 range.

I don't know if its the best time to buy, but it certainly is a good time to buy.
If there isn't big changes to demand, I don't see the price going anywhere but down until the reward halves again.
I'm just curious but what is so bad about people turning off their mining rigs? Less coins being mined would prevent the supply from increasing as quickly, correct? Hence, this would dampen the price drops?
There would still be the same amount of coins being mined, it would just be going to less people. The people that shut off their rigs will come back when difficulty drops or price goes up.

The price is as of now at $235 and wow I am surprised at the outcome of the new year because the value is actually going lower!

Happy i can buy more but starting to worry about bitcoin. Merchants losing money, miners quitting, it looks bad and i wonder how much hits can bitcoin price take before serious dmg to bitcoin network and adoption.
I think it might go below $200 but like a roller coaster, it's bound to go up, so I am going to hodl and maybe buy more.

Sad, but I am in for the long run, so might use it as a buying opportunity, unless people start moving into an alternative crypto in a serious way.I can't see that crypto won't play a bigger role in the future, and bitcoin is the market leader.

Jeeze, I never really pay much attention to the price these days until I see threads like these. Personally I have mixed feelings. Low price allows me to aquire more but at the same time I want them to stop losing value and and be a decent store of wealth / useable currency.
I think my strategy is to add 500$ worth at different lvl's. 200/175/150/125/100 and see what happens and pray it goes to 600 before 60 lol
