- I can't believe that this site can run if they are fully ripping people off. -
Selective scamming? Plus horrible support that'll string you on for weeks/months while asking for documents/proofs that may or may not help.

Or well over an year, which is my case. Their support staff are selectively scamming people. I can't even reach their "legal" representatives on their supposed shell company. Plus, they have absolutely no lawyer. Also, their physical office on the UK? It's bogus. There's no one there.

Their twitter account seems active. Tweet them, perhaps?

I've been a user with BTC-E since 2014. I recently tried logging in and it said "account suspended contact support".
I contacted support and got a list of documents and screen shots I had to provide in order to unlock my account.
They said my account was closed due to inactivity. I then provided all of the listed requirements.
After a period of time with no reply, I got another email saying to provide a screenshot from the wallet I deposited from.
I then provided all of the above and still haven't got any reply. I read on several message boards that BTC-E was a scam.
Does anyone know what action I should take next? I have altcoins in my account and would like access to them.

Here are some screenshots of my interaction with support.

Has anyone had any luck getting BTC-E to respond? I tried messaging them politely in English and Russian with no reply.
I've provided my passport scan, mail sent to my address, screenshots from my wallet showing deposits to btc-e,
my original ip address, the amount deposited, account opening and activity dates. Thanks. Any help would be appreciated. Huh

I didn't use BTC-E for like 2 years and I was able to login and trade again.

No idea why this is happening to you. It will likely take awhile for them to respond as they usually have not many staff.

But more importantly, most people ignore the accusations or issues others may have. As long as it doesn't happen to them, then that means the site is fine.
I hope you get your issue fixed. Good luck.

I am in the same boat as both of you.  Lost my 2 factor authentication on my phone and got locked out of my account.

After sending all the information they requested they go silent.  Has been two weeks with no response.

I hope btc-e sees this forum and helps us all out.

I am in the same boat except for the fact that my account is NOT banned or suspended. Just the IP address I PERSONALLY placed in my whitelisting security tab of my account was taken away from me by my ISP!!! Which means, my situation is even simpler but the outcome is the same -

Been trying to get them to answer me for about 2 weeks and NOTHING. my account's total in the 4 figures ... and thats after losing more than 65% worth of my account value due to open positions that went down 65% !!!

Those are some people who do not deserve the reputation they once had!
