I live in China and Btc-e has been unaccessible from two of my local internet connections.

Can only access btc-e using a vpn.

I wonder if this is because they offer RMB trading?

Starting about Thursday 4pm China time, btc-e.com became unreachable from my apartment in Beijing (China Unicom) and office (also China Unicom). I too wondered if it was related to the introduction of CNY trading and the May 10 deadline.

This site is not accurate. It reports many sites as inaccessible though I have been able to access them for a long time.

Thanks for the info!

Do you know what ISP company you're 2 local internet connections use?

China Telecom and China Mobile.  I live in Hangzhou, so I don't know if it is a local issue, however, since my first posting it has been confirmed by others in other parts of China.
