They say "never trust the trollbox" but also I almost sold everything reading trollbox, happy I did not do it.
Would have ended (again) in a loss for me.

Many people were screaming Sell! Sell!! at the worst time.
Lemmings, lemmings everywhere...

To win you need to go against the crowd, but the timing can be hard.

Ya this DDOS attach was almost predictable, given what the prices were doing, was way better to slow the rise via warfare...think about it.

Personally want 1oz Silver back to being at least 1:1 with bitcoin, in the summer of 2012, when I last traded bitcoins for Silver, the price was in the $4-5/bitcoin range then.  It was a very bad trade for me, considering I was buying Silver selling for $30/oz.  Yet, now look back on that experience as having still been worth it, developed a couple good contacts for future trade.

Manipulators are Smart, DDOS + Pump ftw because e-BTC was non-stop dumping.
Their TrollBox is maybe too efficient ?

As shady as Btc-e may seem from time to time, they have always been honest about what is happening.

As compared to mtgox.

The tweet was 6 hours ago and the site has been working fine.
That rally from $340 to almost $420 was exciting.  Smiley

Probably they DDos'ed it because people were getting sell crazy because of the weekly China Ban sounds.

yeah i saw some glitches on my side , and then it is posted on their twitter. DDOS attacks on BTC-e have occured many times  , i would not worry. But still its not safe to have coins on any exchange  , as soon as you trade , transfer them to your wallets.

Nothing new. BTC-E regularly comes under DDoS attacks. And they are pretty honest enough to admit that. That last attack occurred about 6 hours ago. And it was fought off.
