I suppose this was an exception? I also sent USD wire transfer before the announcement. I gave up and contacted the bank. My bank had no problems getting it back in about 7 business days. Lost fees.

Update February 3rd 2014

Received my transfer today.

Now I have to resubmit my identification to lift the over 300 hour money hold. Just happy I received my deposit at this point though.

is the issue with US clients only for wires? Does BTC-E accept US clients?

Also is the current issue only for deposits or for withdrawals by wire also?

Whats the update on you guys that wired in?   My issue was that I already had wired in  3 or 4 times. So the details were saved with my bank. I go and wire money in on Friday the 24th.  Then later that day I see that they don't accept wires from usa anymore. that they will be refused by the bank.  Now if they are truly refused by the bank. they should go right straight back to the original account.  I am not getting any responses to my tickets either and very worried as this is a large sum of money.

Last year I had succeeded with several USD wire transfer. However, transactions made this year seem to be delayed. I wonder if the information above regarding US banks and US resident are blocked is applicable to intermediate bank between the local bank and their bank, Deutsche Bank Czech, DEUTCZPX. I noticed my transfer was sent via Deutsche Bank US as the intermediate bank and held once there.

Same thing happened to me.  Sad

Sent wires on Dec 4th and 5th from separate accounts. Still waiting after nearly 6 weeks. Tickets have not been answered even after sending detailed information including ID verification and details of the wire transfers. My bank can't do anything and Mayzus says they can't release details of the wires because they need to respect the 'privacy' of their clients. Starting to get very concerned and wondering if I need to seek legal council.

All of my wires have gotten through.  It shouldn't take 5 weeks, so go ahead and make some noise to customer service, Mayzus, etc.  Just be polite, I don't think anyone is trying to steal your money.  I have grown to trust BTCe, I am confident you will have this resolved in the end.  Good luck.

I am 100% sure that if you do not include it, your wire will never get credited.

Are you sure you included the details of payment field correctly? Mayzus is unable to accurately credit btc-e accounts without it.

100% sure. I don't think it would hurt to post that information just to get a community consensus would it?

hello toastedPotRoast,

The same happened to me yesterday.
Ticket marked as resolved with the automatic answer:

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we need some time to trace your deposit with our bank.

Did they ever find your money?

Update 1/10/2014

As of Today I have not received my money. A trace was completed by Bank of America on January 2nd. They are confident that the money was deposited successfully.

At this point it seems to be an error with A. BTC-E or B. Mayzus Financial Services.

I will be contacting Mayzus today.

In all seriousness this is totally unacceptable to have $5000 not credited after one month and one week. If anyone has been in this situation before, I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks!

I've also been waiting about 2 weeks for a USD deposit (from canada though). This is the longest they have ever taken to credit one of my deposits.

Bump. Opened up another support ticket today. Uploaded the Funds Transfer Request Authorization document from my bank to them. Went back over the document, all my information is correct with the BTC-E account identification number on it as well. Don't know what the problem is but tomorrow will make it two weeks since I've seen my 5k. Really pissed.

That seems to be the general consensus. They are a reliable company that will not scam you. Last week people were going crazy with everyone saying they stole this and that. Yet in the end they seem to always pull through. I'll wait it out a little longer and see how it goes.

I would wait a little longer.  Maybe send BTCe another ticket later this week.  If you don't see the money by next Monday and BTCe is not being helpful, that is when I would call your bank and try to figure out what is happening, though any 'reversal' would need to be handled by BTCe's bank.  Your U.S. based bank will be powerless to reverse an international wire transfer.  If the money is not back in you bank account by then, that would suggest it was accepted by the receiving bank.  Undoubtedly there are other banks in the chain though.  Keep us posted with how it goes.

I've had a decent experience with BTCe.  They are slow and terrible with customer service, but I haven't lost and fiat or bitcoins.

Update February 3rd, 2014 I have received my deposit.

So as we all know, BTC-E has stopped accepting international wire transfers from the U.S. Not a big deal. Unless you've already sent them money before there cutoff date!

That is exactly what I did. On December 3rd, a transfer of $5000 was accepted at there bank. As of today, the transfer has not shown up in my BTC-E account, and neither has the transfer been sent back to my bank account.

I have sent in a support ticket to attempt to get my money out of limbo. Which BTC-E sent back :

"We don't accept international wire transfers from US Citizens or from US Banks.
All transfers from US Citizens or US Bank will be refused by bank."

I know that. (now)
Except I have already sent it, and there bank has already accepted it. What do you think I should do next?
Considering the possible options that I have available.

1. Send in another support ticket to BTC-E.

2. Contact there bank that I sent money to and try to get the transfer reversed.

3. Let it ride out since it has only been about 5 business days.

4. Make an account on bitcointalk.org and ask for advice.

Appreciate the responses!
