So far no problemo. I needed a quick PPC to BTC trade to get something for the girl and had no issue starting from zero.

The only thing that bothers me is not seeing all the decimals in the trade textboxes. Now I have a 0.0000186 BTC leftover there. Tongue

Yep don't click any links in the trollbox. And don't click PMs or News updates.

Gotta love the trollbox! Takes a while to catch on to the "inside" jokes though.  Smiley

DO NOT click anything in the troll box! They are quite funny to watch sometimes though...

I've made quite a few trades there, no problems at all.

Also, don't click on random links posted in the btc-e chatbox.  Some people have been hit by java payloads and had their Mt. Gox accounts cleaned out as a result.

I use BTC-e along with several other exchanges to keep everything spread out in case any one of them becomes corrupt or all "GOXed" up when you really need to trade.  I do like the many different options for Alt Coins and other currencies available on BTC-e.
and they have the funniest chat box around.

The troll box is the most fun part  Cheesy
Grin

I never had problems with my btc-e account but I've seen some threads about hacked or problems with btc-e accounts and their unresponsive support.

I used to use it a lot until they locked me out of my account. I presume they stole my coins too since they won't let me in to investigate. Happened to a bunch of us over the last few weeks. I don't use it at all now.

I personally like BTCE for all of the transfer/arb options it gives you. I wish GOX had more than just fiat/btc on it.

Is anyone else using BTC-E for cryptocurrency trading? It has been quite simple for me, and like using it, are there others that you prefer to use more?

DanJaker is a scammer he will ask you to send first and then ignores any further contact and of course doesnt send you anything in return

The issue with btc-e is getting your money there, especially if you live in the US.
You'll have to pay 2% OKPAY transfer fee.
Other than that it's fine.

I use BTC-e, it is a good service although their prices don't correlate too well with other services.

There's https://vircurex.com/ which I'm beginning to use as my backup exchange (and I recommend every trader to have atleast one backup exchange set up, because when you would need to trade the most, you usually have problems doing so).

Also many services like cryptoswap.com are used but personally I've no experience nor I've heard any reviews regarding them. Needs investigation.

I have never used https://mtgox.com/, and hopefully never will, it being most famous but also probably the most inconvenient service available.
https://www.bitstamp.net/ is a well-working service with 1-3 days business delivery within SEPA for bank transfers and a wide selection of other payment methods.

Too few multi-currency exchanges currently in my opinion; we DEMAND more of them. With altcoin support. Cool
