.
Next time, try increasing the security of your wallet by enabling 2fa, SMS authentication, and email authentication.
Having these features won't give complete security because all of the above also can be bypassed so stuck with the private keys and keep them safe from any digital form of storage.
But the situation at hand here is an exchange account not a personal wallet. Exchange funds can only be stolen in general if they have access to the key of the hot wallet. But personal exchange account hacking can only happen if your email account is vulnerable.

If you don't mind, you can tell us about the last thing you remember before your account got hacked on that exchange. the last thing you do before that happens. maybe you cannot get your Crypto assets back, but by telling us what exactly happens, you will save the others by not doing what you have done. this is the least you can do to prevent those scammers from hacking their other victim's account again. Most of the problems can be resolved if we know what really happens that's why we need you to post the complete details to be able to help you or tell you that your coins are no longer possible to recover.

my advice is try to contact the VPN provider and ask for help,
He wont get far doing that. VPN providers don't give out details about their users to random people. Most VPN companies keep logs but the right documentation needs to be provided. He needs to file a report with the police. This can only be done by the authorities.

How is that going to be possible? You plan on getting an hacker to hack the person's wallet and getting your coin as revenge? That's all impossible. Things doesn't work that way here because they always say "not your keys, not your wallet".
Next time, try increasing the security of your wallet by enabling 2fa, SMS authentication, and email authentication.

I'm afraid to tell you that recovering your crypto will be far from possible now if you don't count the help from the authorities for recovering it. Even if we locate the hacker I don't think we will have the resources to recover your crypto from him/her so it's better that you go to the authorities first and you have a long shot from them assisting you. The only good thing I see here is that you should take this as a lesson and like what they have said never ever hold your coins in a crypto for too long.

Hi, my exchange accounts has been hacked and all my coins has been changed to BTC than transffered to someones BTC wallet address, I have his BTC wallet address and IP address ( probably used vpn)
is there any chance to find it out ?!
Who will help me out will be awarded with half of my coins which total amount was more than 1 BTC
Thanks
Unfortunately, you can't do anything about it anymore. We all know that bitcoin makes anyone using it anonymous in nature though you can track the address, you will surely have a hard time finding out who has stolem your bitcoin. Next time you should just be more careful and make sure that you are securing your wallet more than enough because the hackers or frauds are everywhere. Do not repeat the same mistake and start improving the safety and security of your wallet always, no matter what happens.

I haven't tried this service yet but I discovered this one because of this thread and I think it's worth a try since you will just be only paying them if they have recovered your stolen funds so I think it's a win win solution. With your case I don't think I could do of much help since I really have nothing to work on, at least with this service where a legal firm is backing it up they might have some several ways of recovering your crypto as normal members here don't have.

This ^

I also think that ReclaimCrypto is an option that you should consider. Write to them and let them check the chances. They have tools for tracking transactions in blockchain and cooperate with exchanges. When a hacker tries to withdraw funds, there is a chance to block and recover them.

the possibility is very small, because the bitcoin address is anonymous and it is very difficult to trace it, it also uses VPN as the protector of the original ip address, my advice is try to contact the VPN provider and ask for help, very small possibility of the address can be traced I hope your btc will return.

-snip-

sorry if out of topic.

Based on whois.com data, this services have been using the IP since 1999. Latest update was 2018. Announcements about the service have been published in several media. The service age is 1 month (according to current date). I haven't found a review of services yet (yes, because they are new. 1 month). With bonafide company backing, hopefully it doesn't end like this services.

no one can help you if the details is not complete . Have you not activated the 2fa in that exchange or any way to prevent someone to login into your account. It is adviceable to activate 2fa to keep your account secure.

But don't expect that you can get what you lose since remember there's no dispute on crypto and there's nothing you can do once you lose it.

This would have been possible if the support had been contacted shortly after the hack Because of this, it takes a lot of time to balance the balance If it can be contacted within a certain time, there is a tendency to return the balance, is not available in any other way.

You should state on what exchange you are using so that we may know on what is the problem out there but in this case maybe you should try to see if the exchange site is trusted since if they are newly built or maybe a long time problematic site then most provably you are in bad shape and fall for exchange scamming schemes but if you are in big exchanges and still got hack maybe it's best to change your email password to secure maybe your email has been hack and you are been attack via mail so securing it is a must before he will find out on your other accounts using that mail.

But don't expect that you can get what you lose since remember there's no dispute on crypto and there's nothing you can do once you lose it.

Currently did not any way to find out BTC transaction tracking or find out IP, personal information etc, you can contact exchanger support team,  there help you better solution You cannot help others in this matter, you want security issues you can better see what you need to do It is better to be careful not to let this happen again.

I would like to ask first have you not secured your exchange account by doing 2-factor authenticator, and email authentication, this is the first thing that should be done when you will keep your coins in exchanges, and you should not keep your coins in exchange this is the rule of the time.
There is a slim chance to recover those coins, and you must now find out how did it happen, and how the hacker gets in your account so you can prevent this from happening again.

You probably have a trojan/keylogger installed.

Recommended action, first clean your computer and do a fresh install.

Change all your passwords with variations.

Add 2FA to all future account setup.

File a police report, then contact the exchange with a copy of the police report and request a freeze of the hackers account.

Finally, dont download pirated software as most keyloggers are embedded with games or tools like excel on pirated sites.

If possible, change ISP or use a new VPN, your IP has been exposed and probably sold, you will be targeted again.

I guess you have probably been a victim of phishing attack, and you gave your login details to the hacker.

What you can do?
- Contact exchange and maybe they can blacklist all his transactions if he want to use it on other exchange.

How can an exchange black list all his transactions to be used on other exchanges ? If he is clever enough he will just mix his coins with any mixer service and transfer them to the new wallet which no one can trace.

I feel the probability of getting the funds back is less than 1% here.

Very little you can do. You can follow the trail and see where he sends the money to. Investigate the receiving addresses and see if he moves the Bitcoins to a known address of an exchange. If that happens contact the exchange, show them proof that the money was hacked and they just might block his account. Depending where you live you can also file a report with the police but chances are you will just become a name on a list.

Take this bad experience as a lesson and try to figure out how you were hacked in the first place. Learn how to protect your valuable information online and don't repeat your past mistakes. Sorry you had to go through all that.

is there any chance to find it out ?!

Yes, you can find out the IP, and if the hacker used a VPN, that can be bypassed and you get the real location, you need someone with good computer skills. But that's about all you can get.
You can file a report, prove that the BTC was indeed transferred out of a wallet you own and then you can monitor the hacker's address, if he/she slips up and uses an exchange directly then their full details can be retrieved. But there are so many ways to circumvent this: mixer services is one. So there is only a slim chance your assets can be returned to you.

On which exchange you had the account where this BTC fraud was committed. Did you not had 2FA ?
It seems the hacker was your near one who knew your password or  hacker got hold of your account because of your weak security.
Whats is the hacker wallet address and are the coins still in that wallet ?  If he had transferred funds out of exchange, then no one can help you.

You can't find origin of anyone using BTC address! You can't even get anything as refund to give half as rewards who helps you in these situation.

You might done something if the transaction is in pending at exchange but once its initiated then its not possible to anyone to stop the transactions so you lost the funds mate and accept it.If you are using an exchange means you will be asked for 2FA security right, Did you turned it off?

Let me think a bit.... police? They can demand IP from exchange, they can trace it, they can investigate.
Regular human beign can't do much, exchange won't reveal IP to private person.

Unfortunately there is not much you can do. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible.
All you can do is to hope that the hacker is dumb enough to leave some traces behind him that can be used to link the address to his real identity.
Keep an eye on the hacker's address and all addresses linked to it, maybe it will lead you to something.

Uhhhh.. Give up? Even if you do track down the guy, which is already close to null, it'd be pretty darn impossible to take the coins back from him. PLUS, probably your fault in letting up in your security of your wallet. Ngl, hacking starts from you giving out information that could help the hacker himself. The only thing you could probably do is try and ask for a support ticket with the exchange you are currently using, and well, ask for help. Plus, probably list the exchange and a few more details so that any one that might try to help you would fully believe in your account details you just stated.

There is no way to recover all hack coins from your exchange account. Here in crypto it is not the same as Paypal that you can dispute the transaction and get your money back. Once you deliver or send your BTC to other bitcoin wallets there is no way to recover them back.

Can you tell us which exchange that your altcoins converted to BTC and sent to other bitcoin address?
