Basically you can easily prove if its from localbitcoins just by looking at the email header and finding out if its actually coming from localbitcoin staff.
Another giveaway can be if the trade # that you were given matches the one where you got scammed in.

It does appear the email and support ticket/trade numbers are legit.
Yes very lucky indeed. It has been just over a week since their initial contact and I’ve done everything I can or was requested to.
I guess it’s just a waiting game. I will try to forget about it until the new year.
