Altcoin depends on Bitcoin
It is certain that the price of all coins moves on the price of Bitcoin.
I am sure that in the near future, the stock markets will depend on/go away from the BTC price.
Because Bitcoin carries and will carry the only real and authentic value.
That time maybe Satoshi's value will skyrocket.

All of these are just transfer of wealth. And if you understand the trend you will understand it better. In layman's term, let's say you invested originally on Bitcoin, with it's dominance because of the demand, most investors would put their money on BTC instead of ALTCOIN. BTC HIGHER- BTC DOMINANCE HIGHER HIGHER

Then once you take profits on BTC, of course you sell your positions and buy more altcoins because now the opportunities for pump is in there. That means if you and more investors sell BTC, BTC will go LOWER- ALTCOIN will go HIGHER. After all it's just a marketplace and transfer of wealth.

Bitcoin is not like the AltCoins that it's market prices is subjected to determine its price by investors Predictions and hyping. Bitcoin is a reputable non custodian coin that can't be influenced nor manipulated at no course and not even the halving event that can guarantee the next value input of bitcoin but what's sure is that the market price will always increase after the halving but not as quick as short term or the impatient investors may think. This is not AltCoins that it's hypes and investors sentiments can be influenced.

The information you shared as stated by you that it's was for educational purposes has actually been educational to an extent but for you to have been able to get the complete purpose for which you made this post then using the right terms would have helped a whole lot in achieving the sole purpose for which you intended before making this post because the wrong terms will only get the you passing a misconception to people, the word pump is not a word usually identified with Bitcoin because it's dynamically stable as compared to other coins, Bitcoin has got a progressive growth nature and not a mare pumping that could be influenced by a few speculators.

Altcoins are the one that are usually associated with the word pumping and in some cases there's a dump aswell but then with Bitcoin it progressively grow and not just getting pumped, Altcoins which are used for a particular project can just get pumped for that purpose after which they may me adversely hit and some get dumped but such has never been seen with Bitcoin rather over the years it's progressively scaled through different Prices and breaking new highs.

Bitcoin is not like altcoins. It is not a pump and dump coin and it is biggest difference of Bitcoin versus altcoins.

You can say pump and dump with altcoins but please don't use pump and dump to talk about Bitcoin.

With Bitcoin, it is better and more accurate if you use words like growth, not pump and dump. Bitcoin price grows gradually with time, but the growth is very good and solid. You can say Bitcoin has a long sustainable growth in its value, price and trading volume. Altcoins can have pumps but their prices, trading volumes are not sustainable.

How many cryptocurrencies (altcoins) failed?
Don't buy altcoins because they are top altcoins

If bitcoin is not manipulated, pumped and dumped, what will it be called when the 2022 bear season arrives and bitcoin plummets from $69k to $15k? Not to mention the bear seasons before 2022, bitcoin even dropped 90% before rising again, this is not a game of manipulation, pump and dump, what is this called?

It is true that it is unfair to compare altcoins with bitcoin because bitcoin is still safer than many altcoins, but as a manipulated financial market, I think there is nothing wrong in calling it a pump and dump.
Interesting perspective! I'm curious: how do you differentiate between market volatility and manipulation? And what do you think are the key factors driving such drastic fluctuations in Bitcoin's price? It's a complex landscape, for sure!

With Bitcoin, it is better and more accurate if you use words like growth, not pump and dump.

Altcoin projects are said to be pumped by fake investors to make it seem like the coin is doing well and that it invites more investors just to dump it later on when there is enough profit to take. Bitcoin isn’t like that at all. Yes, it is volatile and its increase in price isn’t stable or a constant uphill movement however its investors are genuine and aren’t just developers trying to take profits from all the other investors.

It’s important to know the difference as you might be spreading misinformation which can cause a lot of misunderstandings regarding the nature of bitcoin.
Interesting perspective! I'm curious, what indicators do you use to distinguish between genuine and fake investors in the crypto space? And how do you think this impacts the long-term viability of different coins?

For ALT price to be increased, you just need to keep an eye on the BTC dominance.
Dominance and BTC price aren't the signs to predict Altcoins price!

Quote
If  BTC Dominance Increase with BTC Price = ALT Dump
This mean most people choose to invest in Bitcoin over Altcoins.

Quote
If  BTC Dominance Increase & BTC Price Decrease = Major ALT Dump
This mean people taking out their money from Altcoins.

Quote
If  BTC Dominance Decrease & BTC Price Increase = Major ALT Pump(ALT Season, ALT pump upto 100%-1000%)
This mean most people choose to invest in Altcoins over Bitcoin.

It's just a simple supply and demand, nothing else.

Altcoins can't be predicted because we don't know how many stupid people especially cash cows that want to invest in this scams.

Sorry for being a broken record, but the supply is not cut in half. The supply continues to increase every 10 minutes until it reaches 21 million. It is the production that is halved. It is a common misconception.

The distinction is important because the claim that "the supply is reduced" it is typically followed up with a statement along the lines of, "and a lower supply causes a higher price." The logic is erroneous because the supply is not reduced.
Inflation rate cuts half after a halving, each halving. New supply will be a half less than before a halving but there will be more bitcoins appear with each new block till 2140 after 20,999M bitcoins all mined from bitcoin blocks.

How is the 21 million Bitcoin cap defined and enforced?
Controlled supply

I hope the information will help new users and now they will have a clear Idea of “How the BTC halving Pump works”.

I help clarify the picture you mean OP

Broadly speaking, the picture above illustrates a pattern of market performance whose direction can be observed on every change in every moemnt of Bitcoin dominance and it can also be a temporary reference and become the main clue in market dynamics.

But, it all depends on the individual also if he likes to jump here and there, especially in current market conditions plus the factor of personal emotional pressure when seeing the price getting steeper after buying can be a shaky trade defense and certainly cut loss again in looking for a price lower than the initial capital.

Bitcoin might have gone through these periods but it cannot be easily manipulated like altcoins. Bitcoin price drop or rise is caused by diverse organic economic and political conditions, unlike altcoins that can pump through organized strategies to artificially inflate its worth.

It is true that there is a difference between bitcoin and altcoins, altcoins are manipulated by elephants, market makers and especially project developers, but let us not be naive that bitcoin is not manipulated. Just one piece of nonsense news is released and bitcoin is immediately dumped, then they continue to announce that the news is fake, and bitcoin recovers as if nothing had happened. If that's not manipulation, what do you call it?

The only difference between bitcoin and altcoins, bitcoin will also be manipulated, pumped and dumped but it will recover. As for altcoins, many altcoins will pump and dump and then disappear.

Price pump doesn't happen with a guarantee during the halving, you're already witnessing it, look at it, it's not pumping as you'd expect it and the halving's already happened. There's more to the factors that will cause the price to pump than just the halving, if there's no demand during the halving then there's going to be no chance that a price pump is to be expected, look at what happened before the halving, the price pumped and how can you explain that? Your explanation is a little bit too black and white to be really factual, sure you've stated the obvious about halving which everyone already knows about but other than that, it's all an opinion to me.

In a pump and dump scheme, a project is hyped falsely meaning people create hype around a project for basically nothing which controls the price of the coin before taking out profits. Yes, bitcoin is volatile but it is not because of some false narratives. It is rather affected by different kinds of factors such as economic sentiments or global events.

They are not made to control the price of bitcoin and that is the difference between a pump and dump scheme and the simple volatile nature of bitcoin.

Well, the halving does not guarantee of a good price increase. But as far as history is concerned there have always been new ATHs at least a year after the halving. That's not certain, of course, as those past occurrences can't be a basis in predicting the future, but it gives us an idea. I myself am among those who are expecting an ATH after the halving, that's despite the ATH that was reached shortly before the halving.

Anyway, for alt price increase, it can't be explained as if alts are one coin. As always the case with alts, there are those that go up and there are also those that go down, all at the same time. There are those that soar while others die. And I guess it's not as if BTC dominance decreases while its price increases that alt pumps follow. The former doesn't necessarily happen prior to the latter, much less cause the latter. These may happen simultaneously because the decrease in BTC dominance itself could be what an alt season mean.

Your prediction about Bitcoin isn't incorrect at all but like BlackBoss_ said, you should never the use world Pump and Dump for Bitcoin because it's the king of the market and no one can pump or dump it at all. Bitcoin grows in value and that's going to be a good wording for a reputed coin like Bitcoin.

I also believe that we are yet to see the peak of Bitcoin and that may take place in October-December of 2025, that's why I believe we should not worry even if we see Bitcoin going down in value because such down movements are in fact opportunities for us to accumulate more of it.

I can't agree more with your POV that growth is more relatable to BTC as you have aforementioned, its more sustainable in the long term and etc. but we should not only see the positive side of an entity, we should also accept the fact that BTC is not free from pump and dump scheme. Although the impact of some D&P schemes is very little but it does exist.

As before the creation of this topic of mine Is Bitcoin truly free of Pump and Dump Schemes? I also thought BTC is free of P&D but when I got valuable answer from OGz I understand that P&D is possible in BTC but the impact of such immoral technique is so little. So considering the fact we can say that positive side is big enough that the bad side of P&D is negligible.

As I have already mentioned above that 2024 is different and many Big companies are adopting the BTC and it is expected that many countries will make it legal, which will pump theBTC price to sky rocket.

Anchoring price predictions on the assumption that many countries will make Bitcoin legal this year is not advisable. Even if some nations unban or adopt it might not take the price to the moon. However, we are still expectant because nothing is impossible.

If bitcoin is not manipulated, pumped and dumped, what will it be called when the 2022 bear season arrives and bitcoin plummets from $69k to $15k? If  BTC Dominance Increase with BTC Price = ALT Dump
If  BTC Dominance Increase & BTC Price Decrease = Major ALT Dump
If  BTC Dominance Decrease & BTC Price Increase = Major ALT Pump(ALT Season, ALT pump upto 100%-1000%)
"Dominance" is an arbitrary thing too look at since it is just market cap ratio (bitcoin versus unlimited number of altcoins with unlimited supplies). It  doesn't really show anything. For example there could be a period where the scammers create a large number of shitcoins hence inflating the sum of all altcoin market caps which would then decrease the market cap ratio (falsely called bitcoin dominance) but that does not mean altcoins are being pumped.

The actual trend is that each time bitcoin price goes up or down, the altcoins get dumped.
But each time we have a bitcoin-bull-season where "fresh money" is coming in, the altcoins can get access to new wave of "newbies" who would buy their garbage hence the altcoins also experience the altcoin pumping season.

Hi Crypto Lovers,

The info I am sharing is only for Educational purpose and are not for any Investment Purpose, so DYOR before any investment.

So, we have seen a lot of instability in the crypto world form the last few weeks and everyone is predicting the BTC as well other coins price as per their knowledge. I also did some research and are now sharing it, so new user can have an idea of “How the BTC PUMP works” and “When ALT can be Expected”.
Normally, when a new user enter into crypto world and hear about BTC halving, then the only this in his mind is that “After BTC Halving, BTC will sky rocket” but this is not how it works.

BTC Halving

BTC Halving is occur after every 4 years and after every Halving the BTC supply/reward become half for miners, that’s the simple concept to understand.

BTC PUMP

BTC Pump does not happen directly after halving, as there is a cycle for that and for the last 3 Halvings, its follows.
First Halving happen in Nov 2012 and the Price Pump after a Year (Nov, 2013), eventually reached to $1200/BTC, which almost 3X.
Second Halving happen in Jul 2016 and the Price Pump after a Year (Dec 2017), eventually reached to $20,000/BTC, which almost 16.5X.
Third Halving happen in May 2020 and the Price Pump after a Year (Nov 2021), eventually reached to $67,000/BTC, which almost 3.2X.
But now, there a difference in the previous Years and in 2024, as in 2024 BTC Price already cross the previous high which expected after Halving. There are a lot of things happen in 2024 and many Big Whale adopt the BTC and invested in it.
Fourth Halving happen in April 2024 and the price is also expected to be pumped in Nov/Dec 2025 with atleast increase of 3X upto 16.5X which makes the BTC price to reach $180,000 upto $100,000,0.

As I have already mentioned above that 2024 is different and many Big companies are adopting the BTC and it is expected that many countries will make it legal, which will pump theBTC price to sky rocket.
