probably not, because of bitcoins "anonimity".
i might be wrong but i think that would difficult the regulatory agencies work against fraud and money laundry.

Don't the Winklevoss twins have an exchange traded fund with bitcoin? I thought I heard they were working on one at some point but haven't heard the progress on that.

They are still struggling with the SEC.
There was an announcement that they had decided to use BATS, and not NASDAQ for the offering.

There are already people in wall street involved in bitcoin. A lot of people that are professional wall street traders are buying and holding btc, but those guys tend to not tell anyone because holding btc in wall street is not seen with a very good light about it, since it's too radical and goes against stablishment and the wall street mentality is pro-status, but they are all secretly buying and holding, that you can be sure about it.

Bitcoin is already availble on Wallstreet. It is not directly tradeable as a currency yet, but you can trade it in the form of exchange traded funds and even index funds. I am convinced that it is just a question of time until Bitcoin is also tradable as a currency pair like USD/BTC or EUR/BTC on stock exchanges.

Hmm,it is really hard question to answer actually.
But we really see that bitcoin industry is getting bigger and bigger every year, which means that bitcoin will be available in more and more places.
That's why i think we will have is at Wall Street.
We can already see bitcoin at many forex exchanges, for example XM.com got it (at least it had when i was trading there ),markets.com too

Wall St as in any type of institutional/ professional financiers? There are a few who've taken the plunge, albeit very few.

I think it would have to get considerably bigger for the majority to pay it any attention. Current daily volumes would make real professionals snort with derision. People here get boners when there are buys and sells of half a million dollars. That's sub loose change to them.

Apparently latest news from mainstrem media indicates that Wall Street is no longer interested in bitcoin and in FinTech powered by blockchains.
Wolves of Wall Street apparently decided that bitcoin is only flavor of the month and soon investors will move on, to more old fashioned investing solution.

Wouldn't it be possible for them to implement some sort of blockchain solution as a mean to issue stocks/shares of a company?
I'm doubtful that they would actually use Bitcoin itself, maybe when it gets more regulated..

Bitcoin is not a stock but i can be traded on the exchange as a currency, the same way that is happening In FOREX markets.
Thing is though more investors should be interested in bitcoin.

Right now bitcoin looks like monopoly money to them since the price fluctuation.

I don't know, because it seems like Wall Street is just for stock exchange(CMIIW) while Bitcoin is a currency. Unless if Wall Street started to accept currency, well that could happen.

Bitcoin belongs to the currency markets, not Wall Street.

Btc is not like stocks, obligations or derivatives.

That`s just my opinion  Smiley

Spelling errors on top of lousy English,  but that's not why I'm posting.  OP, what exactly is your question?   If ithas anything to do with Wall St. adopting bitcoin, there isn't really enough to go around at this price.

Yea that will happent 100% I am really sure on that because bitcoin is fast geowing and very popular and it have potential to be more popular than gold and  if bitcoin comes to wall street in that moment it will grow fast.

it is possible but one thing is strange to me:
why hasn't it happened yet? especially a couple of years ago when bitcoin was a lot hotter topic with all the solo mining and the price going through the roof towards $1200
so i think since nothing has changes the possibility of this happening is small.

Possible. but i think there is no way for it now unless its widely used by worldwide then fundamental and technical analysis can be drawn on the charts of MT4.
and i mean which drives its price every now and then apart from demand?

If US needs to buy cars from Japan, they don't need BTCs to buy those products but the US needs to buy Japanese YEN in order for them to buy these cars thus making their Yen valuable.
