At today's BTC prices don't bother.  When it's low like this, just buy and wait it out.

When BTC goes above $600 again, you can invest in mining, but buy miners in fiat not Bitcoins.

It changes by the minute so reload often. You'll find that Bitcoin is almost always in the top five, while other coins will be number 1 for 2 hours and then be number 23. I'm talking SHA-256 because I wouldn't by any scrypt mining equipment right now because the scrypt ASICs are coming in a few months.

Yes, I know there are some scrypt ASICs out now (Gridseed) but I've heard they are a bit dodgy, needing frequent restarts and such. Granted this is just word of mouth and may not be factual.

Thank you. I myself thought the same. Bitcoin, for sure, will have a better future.

I'm a bit new to BTC and would like to start mining. Is it possible to compare (current BTC price / mining price) with other available digital currencies and see which one is better to start mining?
