O man. That's rough. I'm sceptical of these auto money pack sites, I have used koukan once and it worked out.  Any luck with the op? I hope you get your pack.

i've only used this one and a private trade. the private trade went very smoothly. this didn't. oh and a friend of mine used another one that used to be up, but is gone now. i don't know the name of it, but she never had a problem with it either.

Did anyone ever receive a successful purchase from this person?

I am out a bitcoin that was worth approx $104.00 at the time of trade. He has since disappeared and is not answering email or bitcoin mail nor showing up on the forum.

Sorry, if you read the FAQ you will see that the site is not offering any service to Californian's at this time for the very reason you mentioned.  I should also note that the site is not an exchange.  The site does not sell bitcoin.  The site does not offer money transmission services to anyone at this time.  The site simply resells gift cards purchased at a retail store.

is that site legit Huh

Legit as in registered by the operator with the Department of Treasury, yes!
Legit as in uses SSL for the safety of it's customers, yes!
Legit as in American based tax paying company, yes!

So, yes, unless I missed something...

In addition to the Feds (FinCEN), are you also registered with all 50 states as well as other territories of the US? I don't see you on CA's money transmitter list: http://www.dfi.ca.gov/Directory/money_transmitters.html

Go to the "gift card" section (after logging in as guest).  We only have a single $100 MP available right now, sold out of the rest.  Will resupply in the next few hours.

The testing option allows you to test the site by spending a penny to watch the process.  I designed the system based on btcpak.com but wanted to let people actually test the system without needing to risk anything.

So if you are a first time visitor I highly recommend you purchase the test inventory so that you might become familiar with the process.

After major design changes the owner has loaded some moneypaks on the site to sell.  If you'd like to test the service please do so with the test ($0) inventory.  It costs less than one penny to test the system and the test demonstrates how the system works.

Now loaded with moneypak giftcards.

Registered with FinCEN as an MSB
