its jamming the network, other transactions that are combined or related to it is not going thru bcos of it's dust causing it. real PITA. it'll be nice if someone could come up with a addy blocker ? i hope someone would bombard the ponzi site. it's giving crypto a bad name.

I don't get any 'spam' transactions yet. I hope I can get them, because (though) it is a low amount of money, it is still a lot better than using faucets. Also the advertisement is only visible on blockchain.info. They are not visible on other block explorers. So that's not a big problem for me and I can get free money which I need to get from faucets for a long time. How good is them Grin

that a good amount of money to play with x200-500 leverage on forex by using bitcoin, i thank them everytime they send me something like that, you can easily turn it into 0.01 or more

if they really think that someone will join their scam with those pesky advertisments, they should consider themselves more than naive

this is becomming a kind of a common thing, this is a transaction advertising spam. just take the dust and forget about it. and it is just a medium priority and will get confirmed in a couple of hours.

This isn't the first neither the last dubious site trying to promote itself sending small transactions with a message in it.
Receive the money, ignore the message.

Is this just like the same thing like before?
Why do this people keep sending a small amount Bitcoin to random people? He never give up Huh
He's trying to promote his website which is an obvious scam. We've had similar things like this before but I for other reasons. I remember a few dust transactions (without fees) and they had no message attached to them.
People can have all kinds of agendas. I suspect that he is using a bot to collect addresses from the forums.
But I still can't believe he want to promote his site with just spending a total 0.016 Bitcoin Cheesy
And he chose a really unbelievable way to promote it

Yeah this is going on for a while. I've actually gotten a transaction from them about 7 days ago. They are just spamming/advertising their ponzi.
I'm not sure how Bitcoin could deal with this, however they have included a fee.

Whatever you do against it, it might be considered trying to control the network. I mean they could code in something that would detect these transactions, however I'm not sure how effective it would be or if it could cause harm for other users.

as per title, who got spammed by this fellas ?

looks like it's not on the blockchain & causing transactions to get stucked with it ?  no confirms at all.

real idiots & how can we prevent that from happening ? or to delete / reject such spams ?
