Here is a list of low fee alternative to Bitpay. Feel free to try them out:

https://blog.blockonomics.co/top-5-bitpay-alternatives-46df15ea0c31

Blockonomics payment processor can help IMO, you just only make an account and you can use any xpub/ypub address from any wallets like blockchain.info, electrum, mycelium, ledger(legacy/segwit) or any wallet of your choice -> customize your payment button -> then copy and paste the button code in your html page to show modal payment processor when your clients click the "Pay with Bitcoin" button. All the addresses shown on that processor are the addresses from your xpub/ypub address and what's good to it, is, you don't have to pay service fees to them. You can also use their Prestashop, WordPress, WHMCS and Magento plugins.

Nobody would send you any Bitcoin if you are not using a reputable payment processor.
How would that matter to a customer ? All customer has to do is send their bitcoins through the medium requested. If the transaction goes through, customers should be given the promised services regardless where the bitcoins go.It's client's fault if they get scammed by the payment processor used and not customers.
If he can do a webpage then, i think he can javascript too that triggers to a payment method when someone used his services, like a click to pay or pay-per-view method. No need for a reputable payment processor since it can be done all by himself and all he need is that put a script on his webpage to accept the Bitcoin payments.

Do people who don't use Bitcoin pay for your legal services online? If not, it's much easier to let them contact you.
You can't just upload one QR-code: you'll never know who paid you!

I would only automate this if you have many customers paying through Bitcoin.
Agree with Loyce, Business usually uses External Payment Processor because they receives dozens of orders daily.
Since you are working a lawyer I doubt you will have dozens of client at one time, making External Payment Processor unnecessary to use and maintain.

If your client wants to pay in Bitcoin, you can just contact your client and give them your Bitcoin address, once you've received confirmations from Blockchain it means your coins have been sent into your wallet Smiley
Many small business still using "BTC accepted here" image, so it shouldn't be a problem for you.

I believe that "Mycelium Gear" is still operating... it's "free" for up to 0.1 BTC/month... and 0.5% after you exceed 0.1 BTC - https://gear.mycelium.com/

Not quite sure how they charge, given the money is supposed to be sent straight to your address/wallet? Perhaps they invoice based on sales volume and block the service if you don't pay? Huh

AND FINALLY..... CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A LITTLE MERIT!! HAHA
Just FYI, you're walking a fine line there... some might see this as "merit begging"... I'd edit that out of your post if I were you Wink

HELLO EVERYONE,

I´m a lawyer here in Medellín, Colombia, I am currently developing my webpage of legal services... I want to accept BTC and other altcoins as a payment but I dont want to pay the fees of BITPAY or so.... I was thinking of uploading my personal wallet QR code on the products I am offering online, or simply put the "BTC accepted here" image, and lead the client to a further contact with me.....ANYWAY the idea is that people get to know that I take crypto as a payment....

Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

ANY SUGGESTIONS YOU CAN GIVE ME WILL BE VERY VERY WELCOME!!!
ALSO, IF YOU ARE IN MEDELLÍN AND NEED ANY LEGAL SERVICE HIT ME UP!!
AND FINALLY..... CAN SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME A LITTLE MERIT!! HAHA

Famous payment API providers like Coingate and Bitpay will consume the certain fees on making the transaction via them. I am not sure about how much percentage they consume from you.

Have you used greenaddress wallet? They provide the professional payment API as well as personal payment API also. For the personal one you need not to pay the fee or something except the transaction fee for the sender. Since you are working in legal department. I hope personal wallet which contains URI is enough. Try their wallet and check it.

For normal transactions you would not be charged for exclusive Greenaddress API. If there is any extra service you may be charged. Check it below.
