Yes, it can just be to get a conversation going and it is in pm so you have no second opinion so the smooth talking scammer tells you lies and maybe you give in ? That is what the scammer hope. You are correct. To me a lack of information is always suspicious. When someone lies there is always lack of info, ever notice that ? It is because they k ow of they lie they must keep the lie going and not forget ot so of there is less to remember it is easier.
