Maybe it is lowering the battery but any running app will do so.
Of course, all running apps will cause to lower your battery life. I have been using coinmarketcap bot for months and it's pretty good as many people referred to this website in order to check the current price and there is another bot called coinvalue to notify bitcoin price in every % change. But, we know that bitcoin and ethereum prices may slightly different in some exchanges, that's why we need to check whether the exchange has a telegram bot as well, which is probably not
