Well, no problem with that. You see now, bitcoin price still going down and we see the price is broken down to the lower price than yesterday. What I mean that we need more than 2 months to increase and break more than $9 is because bitcoin price does not increase and back to $9k but it still goes down for more. We don't know if, in this month, bitcoin can be able to break $9k or not, but we will see it soon.

I am betting on this, we will be back to $9K soon, there was a sudden dump but this is just one of the many that we've witnessed in the past and still bitcoin bounces back, let's relax everyone, we will certainly see some good improvement this year, if that would not happen before the halving, then we can expect it after the halving.

Well, no problem with that. You see now, bitcoin price still going down and we see the price is broken down to the lower price than yesterday. What I mean that we need more than 2 months to increase and break more than $9 is because bitcoin price does not increase and back to $9k but it still goes down for more. We don't know if, in this month, bitcoin can be able to break $9k or not, but we will see it soon.

I still think that we should look at it in either very short term stuff like today and tomorrows price type of situation or we should look for over a year if we are talking about long term. This dude bought it around 14k price and he has been waiting for 2 years and I understand the urge to be in the positive but if he has waited for 2 years that means he is a long term investor and maybe he could wait even longer.

Can anyone here honestly tell me bitcoin won't be over 20k in 2025? I am 100% sure all of the people here would say we would be over 20k in year 2025 which means dude has waited for 2 years already, if he could wait for another 5 years he would double his profit and there are not that many stuff in the world that could double your money in 5 years, I still see this as a win for him.

I am sure bitcoin will reach $20k again in the future, but that will need time to happen because we are still at $9k, so it could be more than 2 months to increase until that price. I am not sure if the price will be above $14k in May if the situations still like this because since January until this day, the price does not break $11k, so I think it might difficult to see $14k. But it could be possible if there is a massive buy from the investor before the halving time so that it can make the price start to increase. I am curious to wait and see how higher bitcoin can reach in the next 5 months later.

I am sure bitcoin will reach $20k again in the future, but that will need time to happen because we are still at $9k, so it could be more than 2 months to increase until that price. I strongly agree.
The resistance says it all.
It doesn't want to go there yet. There might really be a right time for that.
Besides, the halving is not that much near. There might still be investors out there who thinks there is still a cheaper price which they could buy for a great numbers of bitcoin.
2020 4th quarter or the start of 2021.

I am not hoping for a big increase that would just drop down after a week or a month I hope that this time when it goes up above $10K it wouldn't go back down below it ever again.

It seems you have bought btc at a higher rate then as we can see the price of bitcoin currently has dropped. Many speculations about bitcoin that will increase this year, but, as you know we don't know when it will happen. Since you are already holding why not still wait until such time it can recover to the higher price you have bought it.

Continue holding and keep believing, getting a higher price would not be easy but it's not impossible.
This year is the year of bitcoin halving so there's more hype coming and in fact it's happening already, just believe that bitcoin could pump high even in less than 24 hours so be optimistic.

What we see so far this year is great, bitcoin had a great start, reached $10000 again and this should continue as bitcoin is due for recovery.

Dollar cost average is good idea to at least know about but it still requires to know the market will be successful in that period of time. Some markets can be down for a decade and yet still valid, BTC seems underneath to be surprisingly long term in the tides that drive it. Perhaps because BTC is tied to macro economics, FIAT and even QE programs and hence has a large inertia to its base movement. Of course we have the famous speculation and spikes and so on, that wont go away either.
For 2020 I estimate keeping an eye on 200 day average will prove useful, of course the year is longer then 200 day but I think we'll keep a more steady trajectory in sum total. Some or most think upwards this year but I'll just add I think its a slow cook before we see results and yes even with halvening in this year.
My memory of previous halvening was watching the year after saves alot of juggling and worry. I try to learn from my mistakes so I havent forgot and it'll take alot to convince me otherwise.

Ah, then last year must have been rather painful for OP, to see price almost go up to his break even. But worry not OP! I know a couple of people who bought after that, and they kept buying. Same here in fact. I earned btc even at higher prices. But that's the benefit of cost averaging! You keep buying, not 2 btc at one shot like you, but smaller amounts at any price at the time. It all ends up making you in profit long term, that's how it is with btc.

If a new ATH is to be made, then definitely BTC will hold a value above $25k at least and I hope you'd make a nice profit there. Buying BTC when its price is high hurts a lot (higher price is said to be decided when it starts crashing from that point) but don't worry, BTC's history says it all and it'll again repeat itself by showing a price tag you'll never forget.

There are high hopes for this year that the market value will again reach another ATH due to the anticipated Bitcoin halving. The halving is believed to trigger an uptrend because that was what happened before, in the previous bitcoin halving. Despite of the lack of assurance of the price increase, many people still are holding on to the assumption that the market price will regain its momentum from being downed for years.

That is a good amount to hold and I would suggest refraining to sell as early at this point. It would be better to wait for a little longe. Risking won't be that much of a burden because we are talking about Bitcoin. No matter how hard the downfall is, its market price will be able to recover, but patience would be highly required.

It's better to start trading with those Bitcoins you hold as the market is fluctuating between $7k to $11k and it will be a smart move to go on daily trading as nothing is predictable at the moment but if you want you can wait till the Bitcoin halving post which there are more possibilities of a major pump.

That price was indeed so hard to fulfill, and eversince the last fall of bitcoin market along with other crypto; many holders was still hoping to see any progress right now. What's frustrating to see is that price was continuously outraged by the recent problems that affected by global crisis. Typically, most of the reason was due to adoption and most potentially the latest problem of epidemic virus ncov which currently affected finances from several holders.

Just keep on holding there is hope this year I've been preaching to buy low and always whenever you can afford to buy at whatever price you find Bitcoin while the halving is still not happening, because the halving holds a lot of potential you'll not going to regret it.

I would suggest trying to make money with your money while you are waiting as well. That includes putting your bitcoin into interest and saving from there, using btc to buy any proof of stake ones or maybe even buying a masternode as well in some coin. I know you may not like other coins as well but if you did this since 2018 and now still were holding you would at least had some more money compared to what you have right now.

Even just a 4% yearly interest on freebitco.in would help you get a lot more bitcoin than you currently have. I am not too familiar with any other method but as long as you profit from having money that is always the better option than just simply holding it still.

Back to the topic, I expect new ATH within 2020. I am not big technical analysis still I am expecting a new ATH in this year as we are going to have halving which may bring all the required things, we are deliberately looking for.

The current situation of the market was not impressive, but still potential to reach a better future. Even $14k or $16k is very hard to obtain due to several factors that affects certain growth of bitcoin price this year. We're too early to speculate for any price, but what's important is we knew our bechmark for specific holdings.

Just keep on holding there is hope this year I've been preaching to buy low and always whenever you can afford to buy at whatever price you find Bitcoin while the halving is still not happening, because the halving holds a lot of potential you'll not going to regret it.

That doesn't seem too bad I mean dude has been holding for 2 years now and I think if you do not need 25k+ money for the past 2 years you may not need it for the next year as well. The halving is about to happen in few months and even if nothing happens during the halving process we make sure that inflation goes down, that is a fact, regardless of the price of bitcoin the inflation will go down and that will cause less and less money being sold on the market as well.

Liquidity may go down but that will only help the price to go up a lot more easily as well as allow it to go down easily as well so we just gotta hope that we reach the peak after the halving (but a lot after or just after we may never know). With more and more money stuck and not moving I suppose we will get $13k+ soon like in a year or so.

Right now BTC is dropping very badly after reaching nearly $11k and going down again which is not a Bull sign at all, I suggest you to wait till halving occurs we are very near to it have some patience and hold your savings. Don't be in a hurry and don't panic and sell if the price is dropping, I guess you bought BTC for a huge price need not to worry about that just wait for your day.

Well, basing bitcoin on historical cycles is exactly what people have been doing for so long and it's obviously not working out for people. Except for Macro term more than 5 years, it's really tricky about thinking patterns will repeat. Just because they did before doesn't mean they will again.

My estimate is $50k-$70k in July-August 2021, which would be the next ATH.

You could leave at a total of $100k - $140k if you are lucky. Then buy back 2 BTC once it drops below $20k a year or two/three later...

Does this means that you bought during $13900? it's not clear so I'm assuming that you bought during this peak. And if that was correct, sorry if you got a wrong entry but it doesn't mean that you won't recover again.

Wait until the market becomes calm again and keep on holding it. While waiting for the recovery, set a price when you want to sell and as much as possible you can buy every dip now.

Charts can be analyze so there is a chance to hit that mark this year. This dive is expected based on many traders analyses.
