LOL they sent a mail to me saying they would request a bitcoin transaction success code and they will check it from their end..
A what now??!? Huh

There is no such thing as a bitcoin transaction "success code"... that's a load of rubbish. And who/where exactly are they going to request this so-called "success code" from?

My advice is don't get your hopes up... and consider those BTC a not overly expensive lesson in doing your due diligence before using any online cryptocurrency service. There are a LOT of scams in the cryptocurrency world... and a LOT of very "slick" looking scam websites that look legit and fancy... but the old adage is still very true...

"If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!" Undecided

Yeah, i should have done my research..i did but it wasnt as good now i c lol.
so my 35$ Cry gone with the wind aoouchhchh...

Thanks HCP for your quick response didnt expect it hahahahah this is so cool :

was sending it to https://okeydeposit.com  i when i sent it the deposit was around 35 .60ish. so because it has been lingering for awhile the value has dropped. m in the central zone. so what should be the solution? beacus it is still showng wating for confirmation and when i login to through another browser the deposit category shows $0.00
I wish i we had a feature to throw in a screenshot Sad
Then I suggest that you contact support over at okeydeposit.com and ask them why it hasn't been credited to your account. I suspect, that as they ask for an exact amount that this is what they are going to tell you.

They specifically said 0.00314511 BTC... and you sent 0.00319911 BTC... and as this address has already been used for other "similar" deposits, your payment probably needs to be exact to prove it is yours.

In any case, a quick google of "okeydeposit.com scam" does not return results that you're going to like... that site seems to be yet another "HYIP" (aka Ponzi scam).

Quick rundown of the SCAM checklist:

- Ludicrous ROI claims... CHECK - 7000% in 2 days? Roll Eyes

- Claiming SSL makes them "trustworthy"... CHECK

I don't see any exact payments of 0.00314511 to that address.

Recently (as in, around the "20th Feb", it's hard to tell without knowing your timezone etc), that address has received payments of:
15SgZAEJsrj99CJs9i39oZUbRTmhEu7hkw - (Unspent) 0.0033568 BTC
15SgZAEJsrj99CJs9i39oZUbRTmhEu7hkw - (Unspent) 0.00319911 BTC
15SgZAEJsrj99CJs9i39oZUbRTmhEu7hkw - (Unspent) 0.00304425 BTC
15SgZAEJsrj99CJs9i39oZUbRTmhEu7hkw - (Unspent) 0.00320714 BTC

The closest I would guess was the 0.00319911 BTC one (https://blockchain.info/tx/671053feb85792a5b8050d961a4adc941cc16e976f7a9521d93fe95e9d1cf3a2)... 21/02/2018 03:36... UTC which would be around Feb 20th 9:36pm for someone in the "Central" timezone(?) of the US/Canada

NOTE: Without knowing your specific TXID, it's hard to tell for sure if there are any issues with your transaction.

It's quite possible that because you didn't send the EXACT amount they asked for, that their system cannot reconcile your payment with the invoice.

Which online platform were you attempting to send funds to? and have you tried contacting them?

The only transaction to address 3QAWhNkAhdQbL1AMfNy4DdayfMv2XuBZvS is this one: https://blockchain.info/tx/cf2afa51e0b4783a01c46479f92761a35df28862f06b6503ac75671a211f0fda

Which (as of writing this) has 80 confirmations. If the 0.07358366 BTC has not been credited to your account, you need to follow up with the online platform that you were sending coins to. They are the only people that can assist you now.

Hey guys. So I recently sent Bitcoins to a platform online. I didn't through coin base. It took a long time for the confirmations to take place. But after a away or so it said that the bitcoins where sent to the bitcoin address. And of course, I haven't received them yet. Could this be that it might take 24hrs for it to be in my account before I can use them?? Here is the address for it. 3QAWhNkAhdQbL1AMfNy4DdayfMv2XuBZvS

It says in the middle of the page SENT $0.00 What could that mean? I know after 3-6 confirmations you can see the bitcoins in your address depending on which websites you use. But could please someone help me figure out what is really wrong or what is going on.

Thank you for your time.

It seems the transaction went pretty well, and the address you posted was clearly stating that the transaction was completely sent to the designated reciever, maybe you shoukd try asking for screenshot of the owners in his wallet to validate if he/she really does or does not receive the coins you have sent because it seems to me he/she is ploiting something might be scamming you should be wary about it.

I just had this issue, blockchain says my BTC transaction is confirmed and received 149 confirmations (https://blockchain.info/tx/2429fd242844825b6310480d848e35552a7dc4f647323ca69c9006762c84131a) but I have not received BTC in my wallet. Please advise
Was it Freewallet? If so, try submitting a ticket to their support here: https://freewallet.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

They also appear to have a "chat" facility in their mobile apps.

Otherwise, what wallet were you receiving the funds to?

bear in mind that I've already contacted their support ,but no respond yet
Any help would be appreciated

Belmabdi, your exchange was successfully completed on December 21st. It can take a while for transactions to get confirmed and finally posted in the network; the transaction speed depends on the current network conditions.

Well on Sunday morning I thought what I would do I will completely log out of my wallet then log in with newly created user name and new password and completely new set up with the same "BTC Freewallet.Org" .
Start up the newly created wallet and..... Bingo all transaction of my BTC shown there ...well  under 1BTC... Gr8.
Because I was thinking the transaction went back the same wallet because I have received confirmation saying your BTC wallet(I did the transaction from??)  is credited now, although it was showing Zero..?? It like the transaction went back to a copy of the same wallet but needed to be unlocked..ie buy creating new account...I work in IT but it seems we need to look at basics first....reboot..  Smiley  Smiley

nic77, please provide your user id from the Settings section of the app; it's an internal id we use, so listing it in public won't jeopardize your wallet security, neither it can grant the access to your wallet balance.

I have the same issue but not with Bitconnect.
I have been using BTC freewallet.Org for a while,  but last  time I used it, I sent  BTC to my Coinbase wallet still no sign even showing wallet transaction address from sending wallet and nothing  in coinbase receiving wallet,  I have received conformation of the transaction completed by email and also showing completed in my BTC freewallet? contacted the support team been provided what they asked for but no result and I have been sending notifications  for the last few weeks they don't even reply..

nic77, apologies for the delay! We're getting lots of tickets before holidays, thus the extended response time, alas. Please provide your user id, we'll do our best to speed up the review of your case. Thanks in advance!

I face the same issue. I sent 0.066 BTC to bitconnect bitcoin wallet. Still i didn't receive it in my bitconnect account. I hve confirmed the btc adress.
Can any one help me on tht. Following is the blockchain confirmation.
https://blockchain.info/address/1KSgWKRb2CCn4im5UzsoE3DDd28UpMr3A9

Is it possible that you accidentally sent to the wrong address?  Are you certain that the address that BitConnect told you to send to is 1KSgWKRb2CCn4im5UzsoE3DDd28UpMr3A9?

If the BitConnect told you to send to 1KSgWKRb2CCn4im5UzsoE3DDd28UpMr3A9, then BitConnect has received the bitcoins.  They either have a problem with their own software that they need to fix, or they have stolen from to you.  That address has received 0.066 BTC on 2017-12-08 at 05:58:22 UTC.

Did you mean 0.18 or 0.018? As far as I can see here: https://blockchain.info/tx/a679bce4467685dd0b60aa4619242835fc8a7bf7afa3c416aecc9dd8a3bd4db6 , you only sent 0.018? Huh

If you meant 0.018, then they are either lying to you... or their wallet is broken. You can clearly see that their address has received 0.018 BTC and the transaction is confirmed.

If you meant to send 0.18 then you made a mistake! Tongue Roll Eyes

So your address is : 19zYbGwxFjokYQMPftvEijCBQWEsnJV7Ne and you sent to 1NRuicKk5Hk8addVjVVfZcaxE1y9FNjUkk ?
If it's the case then as I said the problem should be on the receiver part (client not sync with the network) or he is actually lying about it , because this is a proof that his address does contain the bitcoin that you sent : https://blockchain.info/fr/address/1NRuicKk5Hk8addVjVVfZcaxE1y9FNjUkk (If it's his address) .

correct: this is my address and the receiver address i sent btc. the receiver claims that he did not receive for 100%.

Is it possible that you accidentally sent to the wrong address?  Are you certain that the address that the receiver told you to send to is 1NRuicKk5Hk8addVjVVfZcaxE1y9FNjUkk?

Is it possible that you sent the wrong amount of bitcoins?  Are you certain that the amount of bitcoins that you agreed to send was 0.33319215 BTC?

If the receiver told you to send 0.33319215 BTC to 1NRuicKk5Hk8addVjVVfZcaxE1y9FNjUkk, then the receiver has received their bitcoins.  They either have a problem with their own wallet that they need to fix, or they are lying to you.  That address has received 0.33319215 BTC on 2015-11-28 at 17:56:19 UTC.

OP, there exist viruses that check the clipboard for bitcoin addresses and change the address you have copied in clipboard. That might have happened on your side or on the side of the seller. So always check the first and last signs of the address you use, best to check some digits in between too.

Oh crap i never though of that. Seriously. Thats hella clever and low profile. I always check the first and last bits of the address i paste, for different reasons. I'd now recommend to anyone to start doing it now as an acquired automatism, just for that.

Also use two way firewalls.

OP: whom are you paying to? A forum member? A company? Please post the message, screen or whatever you have when the payment address and the value to pay are published.

What does "he did not receive for 100%" mean exactly? Is it possible you sent slightly less than you had to? If you're dealing with a system/website it's possible it just shows that message even if 99.9% is paid.

That screen with the address and amount will help.

It might be possible that he sent form an exchange. Only in bitcoin land we have the fact that some exchanges think it is a wise idea to withdraw the fees, the exchange takes for withdraws, from the actual amount someone wants to withdraw. Imagine you going on the ATM to get your fiat cash, you need $100, you enter the amount and you receive... $99, because the ATM take $1 as fee. That's plain stupid but normal behaviour on bitcoin exchanges.

Another thing that might be possible is that the receiver awaited a certain amount of bitcoins he mentioned in USD or another fiat currency. Now the sender had another exchange rate and the seller does not think the amount if right.

Concerning the blockchain and the transaction given the receiver should received the amount sent from you, especially if the wallet address is right as noticed in the blockchain
So most likemy the received tried to scam you and he is lying about the info that he didn't received this amount

I'd consider that person to be either trying to scam you or gave you another address by mistake. You have the blockchain proof regardless, so in both situations its not your fault.

If it indeed turns out to be a scam attempt, then the receiver is quite dumb since the blockchain is open for every one to follow and see what happens. The most likely scenario is that the receiver's client is behind with the blocks.

If the transaction you made is confirmed on your client and your on the blockchain as-well , this means that the problem come from the receiver , It's that simple .
But just to make sure , please post the addresses and TX ID and ask the receiver what wallet (and what version of the wallet) is he using .

thank you for the reply

here is the link of the blockchain info about the transaction:

hi to all!

i am new here and face a problem that i cannot solve. so i thought i ask you to tell me what could be done:

i use multibit hd wallet and yesterday i sent btc to another wallet. the transaction was confirmed by 121 blocks and the status shows that it was sent. but the receiver said that nothing attived.

when i check the details i can see following message in the payment request details section: "This Transaction did not pay bitcoins to any payment request" - what does that mean exactly? does this have any importance for my problem?

i also checked the details on blockchain info. here i can see the word (unspent/not used) next to the wallet address of the receiver.

from my site it looks that all is done correctly. but receiver says that he did not receive.

what is the problem? why it is somehow stuck? what can i do now? i checked in the help section of multibit and tried different things. i even deinstalled and reinstallted it from my computer. but the result is still the same. receiver says he did not get.

i hope someone of you guys can help me and tell me what i need to do.

thank you very much in advance.

thank you guys for the replies for now.

The best is to post the address here in this thread so I can look into it. But as you say everything went right and it has 121 confirmations, then it's most likely that the person who received the transaction doesn't have an updated client. Tell him if he has synchronized all blocks till this date.

If the client that he is using is not up 2 date, then the transaction most likely won't show up untill it has synced everything till the time that transaction was sent/confirmed.
