Yep. All bets go into a huge pool and then divided amongst all the winners. It great for people backing outsiders as the price is often bigger and when enough people play, the favourites match the odds of backing them normally. As you mentioned this is used in Horse Racing and is a very popular way to bet.

 

I'm a little confused but are you using a parimutuel pool to determine payouts similar to horse racing?  I've never seen this type of betting for the NBA playoffs.

Yeah that is true, we see some bookmakers do this and thought id do the same but suppose we are slightly different. Probably will stop this.

We are adding more and more single matches and to the site rather than huge pools.

Hmm, guess that doesn't make sense. What's the advantage of betting early? Why wouldn't you wait until right until the lines lock to see who's left?

How To Play:
Step 1: Select which of one of the possible outcomes you would like to bet on.

Step 2: Back that outcome by sending your bet (min 0.01 BTC) to the BitCoin address found next to that selection.

Step 3: Once the event is finished the Jackpot Pool for that event will be divided and sent out to all the winners in accordance to their bet amount.

About:
The concept of this site is really simple. We provide you with a number of teams or players of a real life sporting event. For example it could be a golf tournament with a list of players, a round of Basketball or Football fixtures with an number of different teams or a race with the list of runners. Users then back who they feel will win given the choices of that sporting event. For example, which of the five golfers will finish with the lowest score, or which of the runners will win the race.

All the bets that are placed will go into a main Jackpot Pool. Once that sporting event is finished, the Jackpot Pool is divided amongst all users who correctly backed that winner. For example, if there are four selections and each selection received 25 bets all of 1 BTC the final jackpot would be 100 BTCs. Only one selection can win and the 25 users who bet on that selection will receive the 100 BTCs between them. After doing the math, we see each player receives 4 BTCs, a nice profit of 3 BTCs.
