Localbitcoins might be a good option as you don't need to verify your ID/address in the website,You can get paid in almost all payment methods though it's better to avoid highly reversible ones like PayPal and the face to face might not be comfortable to some people but there are other possible methods cash bank deposits etc...

Same way you move any other Bitcoin.  You make a transaction sending x BTC to y address.  Any exchange will provide you a deposit address you use your wallet to send coins there.

I'm based in the US, small time miner, wondering if I want to trade BTC for USD how it can be xferred to my bank/credit union/wire house. I was hoping Mt. Gox might be an option but it seems wires with them are blocked by US banking institutions. Not looking to do any trades soon, but would like a plan for when I eventually do. Any advice?

Thanks

I believe coinbase would be the easiest for you for selling in the U.S.

Hypothetically, let's say I wanted to do this but I currently use a different online wallet (wallet 'A'). Would I sign up for a new wallet at Coinbase (wallet 'B') and then send my BTC to it? Or would I do some type of export from wallet 'A' and import to Coinbase wallet 'B'?

Guess this applies to all wallets. So the question is, what is the best way to move BTC from wallet 'A' to wallet 'B' when you own both?

BTC-E can do wire transfers out for a 1.5% fee if I'm not mistaken.

Is it for certain that mtgox can't wire transfer money to US bank accounts anymore, or will your transfer still go through after the 1 month backlog?

Can anyone in the US confirm that they recently did a wire transfer from mtgox and received their money in less than 1 month?

BTC-e allows you to cash out to paypal in the US.  But I believe there is a 6% fee.
